- Abstract
In dilute solution, intrinsic viscosity was decreased with increasing temperature. The Huggins constant increased with increasing temperature. It meant that solvating power was decreased with increasing temperature. PVDF-HFP solutions in DMAc showed unusual rheological responses with temperature in the concentrated solution. The heterogeneity such as longer relaxation time, lower tan δ and higher yield stress increased with increasing temperature. The electrospun webs PVDF-HFP prepared by pure DMAc exhibited ‘beads on string’ morphology. On the other hand, the electrospun PVDF-HFP webs prepared by in DMAc/acetone, beads disappeared. Average diameters of electrospun nano fibers were slightly increased with increasing temperature. In DMAc/acetone co-solvent, crystal structure of electrospun PVDF-HFP webs changed from intermediate polar γ-form to non polar α-form with increasing temperature. DSC results supported WAXD patterns.
