구성주의(構成主義) 이론에 근거한 음악 창작 교육에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문의 목적은 고등학교 1학년 음악교과에 구성주의 이론을 적용하여, 음악 교육 영역 중 창작을 중점으로 음악 창작 수업교안을 제안한 것이다. 7차 교육과정에서 가장 중점적으로 다루고 있는 음악 창작 교육은 학생들의 음악적 잠재력과 창의성을 계발하고, 음악개념을 쉽게 습득하고 이해하는데 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 그러나 학교에서는 실질적으로 창작 수업이 많이 이루어지지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이는 창작 수업에 대한 두려움과 거부감 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 음악 창작 영역의 교육에 대한 활성화 방안을 모색하기 위함이며, 구성주의이론을 근거로 음악창작 교수학습 지도안을 작성하였다. 구성주의는 절대적인 지식을 주입하는 이전의 교육방법에서 벗어나 구성적이며 맥락적인 방법으로 이루어져야 하는 것을 주장한 교수 방법이론으로 1980년대부터 대두되어왔다. 이러한 구성주의는 오늘날 학교에서 원하는 창작 교육방법과 일맥상통한다. 7차 교육과정에 근거한 창작교육은 음악 지식을 주입하여 교사가 이끄는 데로 따라오는 것이 아닌 학생 스스로 음악 요소를 구성하여 만드는 작업을 의미하기 때문이다. 본 논문의 방향은 다음과 같다. 음악교육에 있어 창작 교육의 필요성을 알아보았고, 7차 음악과 교육과정에서 고등학교 1학년의 창작 영역에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 창작 학습 지도안을 개발하였다. 첫 번째로 인지적 도제모델에 의한 수업설계는 스캐폴딩에 중점을 두었으며 계절과 음악이라는 소재로 학생들이 계절에 맞는 음악을 창작할 수 있도록 하였다. 모둠활동으로 수업이 진행되며 평가 역시 자기평가지, 모둠원 평가지, 상호 평가지를 활용해 구성주의적 평가를 실현하려 하였다. 두 번째로 문제 중심 학습에 의한 수업 지도안은 모델의 성격에 맞게 문제제시에 초점을 두었다. 학습 과제를 일련의 상황으로 제시해 학생들이 감할 수 있도록 시도했다. 문제 상황을 풀어가는 상황을 포트폴리오 평가지로 작성하게 하였다. 본 논문의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악 수업에 있어 음악적 개념을 학습자에게 주입하는 수업에서 학습자 스스로 문제를 구성 · 해결해 나가는 구성주의적 접근을 시도했다. 둘째, 어렵게 느껴진 창작에 대해 구체적인 학습지도안과 평가지를 제시했다. 셋째, 학습 지도안이 창작에 중점을 두었지만 두 가지 이상의 활동이 포함되어 있는 통합적 접근 방법을 제시하였다.; This research has drafted high school music creation class concentrating on creation among the areas of music education with the objective of applying constructivism theory on the music curriculum. Creation which is the most focused area in the seventh educational curriculum has the biggest influence on students developing musical potential and creativity and easily learning and understanding music concepts. However, it is true that in reality not many creation classes are carried out in school. This is due to the fear and denial on creation classes. This research was carried out for the activation of such creation area and a creation teaching and learning plan was drafted based on the constructivism theory. Constructivism is a teaching method which argues that education has to be carried out by a constructive and coherent method departing from the previous method of cramming absolute knowledge. This has emerged from the 1980s. Such constructivism is in line with the creation education method preferred by schools nowadays. This is because the creation education based on the seventh educational curriculum means a work which students create by themselves structuring musical elements rather than just following the guide of the teacher cramming musical knowledge. The direction of this research is as follows. It finds out the need for creation education in music education and the area of creation of 1st year high school students in the music subject of the seventh educational curriculum. In addition, it has developed a teaching plan for creation classes. Firstly, class design based on perceptive apprentice model has focused on scaffolding and allowed students to create music suitable to the season under the subject of season and music. The class is carried out in group activities and tried to realize constructivist evaluation using self-evaluation form, group member evaluation form and mutual evaluation form. Secondly, the teaching plan carried out through problem based learning focused on suggesting problems according to the characteristics of the model. It has attempted to allow students to sense by presenting learning assignments in series of situations, The students were asked to draft the situation of solving situations in the problem as a port-folio evaluation from. The result of this research is as follows. First, a constructivist approach which the learner structures and solves the problem by oneself was attempted in cramming musical concepts to learners during a music class. Secondly, a detailed teaching plan and evaluation form was suggested on creation which was considered as difficult. Thirdly, an integrated approach which contains more than 2 activities was presented although the teaching plan focused on creation.
