유학생을 위한 학문 목적 쓰기 교재 개발 방안

Abstract

본 연구는 유학생을 위한 새로운 학문 목적 한국어 쓰기 교재 개발 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 유학생은 대학교에 입학하면서 대학 수업에 대한 어려움을 겪는다. 유학생은 성적과 밀접한 관계가 있는 쓰기 활동을 어려워한다. 유학생이 대학 부속 언어 교육기관에서 일반 목적 한국어를 배웠기 때문에 대학 수업에서 요구하는 학문 목적 한국어를 어려워한다. 유학생이 언어 교육기관에서 한국어 중·고급을 수료하고 대학교 입학했지만, 언어 교육기관과 대학교를 연결해 주는 것이 없기 때문에 유학생은 대학 수업에서 많은 어려움을 겪는다. 본 연구는 현재 대학 수업을 받고 있는 유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하기로 한다. 유학생이 한국어로 대학 수업을 받으면서 겪었던 어려움과 한국어 오류를 설문 조사를 통해서 분석하기로 한다. 특히 학습자 성적에 밀접한 관련이 있는 쓰기 활동에 초점을 맞추기로 한다. 각 대학 부속 언어 교육기관에서 한국어 쓰기 교육과 대학 수업에서 요구하는 대학 글쓰기 내용을 요구 분석을 통해서 알아보기로 한다. 유학생의 요구 분석 결과가 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재 개발을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 5개 대학 부속 언어 교육기관의 한국어 고급 교재를 분석하기로 한다. 쓰기 영역을 중심으로 각 언어 교육기관 별 한국어 고급 교재를 분석하며 각 교재 내에 수록된 읽기 자료와 쓰기 과제를 정리한다. 한국어 교재는 일반 목적 한국어 교재이기 때문에 유학생을 위한 교재로는 적합하지 않다. 각 언어 교육기관은 한국어 교재를 통해서 쓰기 교육을 문법 및 어휘 중심으로 학습자에게 교육한다. 그리고 어휘 및 문법 교육은 대학 수업과는 동떨어진 내용을 주로 다루고 있다. 한국어 고급 교재 분석 이후에 5개 대학 교양 국어 교재를 분석하고자 한다. 교양 국어 교재는 읽기와 쓰기 교재가 별도로 구성되었기 때문에 각 대학 부속 언어 교육기관에서 출판되고 있는 교재보다 많은 양의 읽기 자료와 쓰기 과제가 교양 국어 교재에 수록되어 있다. 교재 분량과 읽기 자료와 쓰기 과제 내용, 쓰기 과제 형식을 중심으로 교양 국어 교재를 분석하고자 한다. 언어 교육기관의 한국어 교재와 대학별 교양 국어 교재 중에서 장점을 추출하여 새로운 학문 목적 한국어 쓰기 교재에 도움이 되고자 한다. 위의 분석 내용을 토대로 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재 모형을 제시하고자 한다. 요구 분석 결과, 한국어 고급 교재 분석 결과 그리고 대학별 교양 국어 교재 분석을 가지고 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재 모형을 제작한다. 쓰기 교재 내에는 논리적 구조를 강조하는 읽기 자료와 과제를 수록한다. 유학생의 대학 전체 생활에 비추어 공통 교양 글쓰기뿐만 아니라 계열별 글쓰기 유형을 제시하도록 한다. 그리고 쓰기 과제 수행할 때 문서 작성 프로그램에 관한 것을 언급한다. 언어 교육기관에서는 주로 학습자에게 연필, 펜 등을 이용한 학습을 하고 있지만 대부분 대학의 강사나 교수는 문서 작성 프로그램을 이용한 과제를 요구하고 있기 때문에 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재에는 유학생을 위한 문서 작성 프로그램에 관한 내용도 수록해야 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통해서 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재 개발 방안과 모형을 제시하였다. 새로운 학문 목적 쓰기 교재를 활용하기 위해서는 각 대학 부속 언어 교육기관과 대학 교수나 강사 등의 상호 협력 관계가 있어야 한다. 유학생을 위한 교육 과정을 설계 또는 재정비하여 대학에서도 보다 높은 수준의 유학생을 발굴하는 데에 힘써야 할 것이다.; This study is designed to show the way about making and developing the Korean writing textbook for the academic purpose. The foreign students have a lot of problems of the classes at the university when they enter the university. It is too hard for them to do something about writing activities in the class. The Korean of the academic purpose make the foreign students hard in the class because they only learned the Korean of the general purpose. The foreign students who finished the intermediate course or the advanced course at the language institute have many problems about writing activities. Chapter two is that this study polls the foreign students who study their major at the Hanyang University find out the troubles about their writing activities at the university and where they have many errors in the writing articles. This survey show that what are the differences between lessons at the language institute of the university and the lessons at the class of the university. Chapter three is the analysis about the Korean textbook of language institutes of the 5 universities for the advanced. This study investigates the reading contents and the questions from the Korean textbook for the foreign students. Korean textbook published in the language institute of the university is not good for the foreign students. This study analyzes the Korean writing textbook published in the press of the 5 universities. The Korean writing textbooks have much more the reading contents and the questions than the Korean textbooks published in the language institute. This study is willing to investigates the reading contents, the questions about writing activities and the style or form of the questions. Chapter four is that simulating the new Korean writing textbook for the academic purpose with the analysis from the Chapter two and three. The new Korean writing textbook has much more the reading contents and the questions about the logical form than the old one. The new one has to guide the way how to write the articles, report and thesis in the foreign students' fields and use the computer programs - the Hangul series and MS office.
