공업계고등학교와 공업 분야 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 진로의식 비교 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 공업계 고등학교 및 공업 분야 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 진로의식 조사 분석하여 진로에 대한 윤리관 가치관 올바르게 정립하는데 도움을 주고, 교사들에게는 진로지도에 대한 기초자료가 되는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 경기도 지역의 공업계 고등학교와 공업 분야 특성화 고등학교 각각 한곳을 선정하여 재학 중인 학생 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, spss win 12로 분석하였다. 분석결과를 나타내면 다음과 같다. 분석 결과 두 학교 학생들은 진학 동기는 고등학교 진학 결정 시기와 진학이유에서 차이를 보이고 있고, 각 고등학교 학생들의 학교 만족도는 후배에게 재학 중인 학교로의 진학 권장 여부에 있어서 차이를 보이고 있다. 그리고 각 학교의 진로 의식은 장래의 진로결정에 도움이 될 것 같은 요인, 진로결정에 대해 재학 중인 학교의 영향 정도 그리고 고등학교 졸업 후 대학 진학 시 대학 종류에서 차이를 나타내고 있다. 또한, 각 학교에서 이루어지는 진로지도는 진로 상담 후 만족도, 진로상담의사 여부에서 차이를 보이고 있다. 결과적으로 공업계 고등학교임에도 불구하고 다수의 학생들이 대학 진학을 원하는 만큼 대학에 진학할 수 있는 진학반 운영을 검토해야 하고, 대학 진학 지도를 올바르게 할 수 있는 프로그램 마련하여 학생들이 정확한 진학정보를 얻을 수 있게 해야 한다. 중학교에 공업계고등학교나 공업 분야 특성화 고등학교에 대한 올바른 홍보를 함으로써, 학생들이 고등학교 진학 후 적성과 흥미에 맞지 않아 진로를 재설정하는 일을 줄일 수 있도록 해야 한다. 끝으로 교사들은 학생들이 진로 상담을 통해 소질·적성·흥미 등을 고려한 후 진로를 결정 할 수 있도록 진로지도 능력을 향상시키기 위해 진로 지도 연수 기회를 확대해야 한다.; This study aims at providing basic material from which students get some help in establishing their ethics and values regarding careers in a right way and which teachers can utilize for offering career planning guide to their students. This study selected one technical high school and one specialized technical high school in Gyeonggi area and randomly sampled 150 students per school, 300 students in total and then conducted a questionnaire survey of them, and analyzed the result by using SPSS WIN 12. The results from the analysis are as below. As a result of the analysis, in each school, students' motivation caused them to enter their high schools shows differences in 'the time when decided to enter the school' and 'reason for entering the schools,' and the students' satisfaction with their schools indicated differences in 'the whether or not of recommending their middle school juniors to enter the schools.' In addition, in each school, the students' career awareness showed differences in 'some technical school factors which may help them decide future careers,' 'degrees of influence of their current schools on their career decisions,' and 'the kinds of college which they would chose to enter after graduating their high schools.' And also, career planning guide in each school showed differences in 'degrees of satisfaction after having career consulting,' 'the presence or absence of intention to have career consulting.' Consequently, even if it is not the fundamental characteristics of high schools for technical studies, one should consider whether or not the schools run classes for students with a college entrance goal as long as they want to enter schools of higher grade, and also one should collected right information on college entrance and thereby help the students in high schools for technical studies acquire relevant information on college entrance. In addition, through promoting technical high schools and/or specialized technical high schools properly in middle schools, one should reduced the number of cases that students would redefine their career plans after entering the technical schools due to the presence of gabs between their aptitudes/interest and the schools' directions. Finally, one should develop programs such as career planning guide training for teachers and increase chances for them to participate in those programs in order to improve their ability in career guide and thereby through having the well designed career consulting, students can decide their careers by taking their talents, aptitudes and interest into considering.
