프로젝트의 의사소통 과정에서 미스커뮤니케이션 발생 원인에 관한 연구

Abstract

The communication leads the project which is an ultimate execution aim of the members who accomplish the IT project successfully and it is one portion of the project management. The objective of this study the actual condition of Miscommunication and an actual Miscommunication occurrence cause and an effect element to analyze the cause of the communication process which is indefinite due to the leveling instrument difference of information recognition from member wild gap of project to materialize to analyze. Methodology of this study was through making a survey to project members who was progressing project. And contents of the survey were consisted of four viewpoints such as Cognition Mismatch, Ambiguity, Role (& Readability) Mismatch and Cognition Background which was affected by Miscommunication occurrence cause. The data was analyzed by factor correlation analysis. This study divided Miscommunication occurrence cause into four parts: Cognition Mismatch, Ambiguity, Role (& Readability) Mismatch and Cognition Background. And Miscommunication occurrence frequency is classified into four parts: Project theme (Subject), Members, On-Line channel and Off-Line channel. The results of this study lead to the following conclusions: First, the element which effect goes mad to a Miscommunication occurrence frequency role and subject is Ambiguity with is caused by from communication process and it occurs. Second, by the specialty knowledge and a business important moral difference of communication participant wild for the Miscommunication occurs, it follows in Cognition Background and the Miscommunication frequency comes to be high. Third, it is caused by with Cognition Mismatch of the project members and it follows in relation and the Miscommunication frequency comes to be high. Fourth, from communication process of Off-Line channel it is caused by with the Cognition Mismatch and the Miscommunication occurs in the members, from communication of On- Line channel it is caused by it follows and with the Role (& Readability) Mismatch and in contents interpretation, terminology use and a difference of understanding level the Miscommunication frequency comes to be high. Finally, the results of this study lead to the practical understanding of Miscommunication occurrence cause.; 본 연구는 프로젝트를 수행하는 조직 내부의 구성원간에 미스커뮤니케이션 발생으로 정보 인식의 수준의 차이에서 나타나는 불명확한 의사소통 과정에 대한 원인 분석을 통해 미스커뮤니케이션의 현상을 구체화 시키고자 한다. 선행 연구에서 나타난 커뮤니케이션 방법 및 주체의 특성과 관련하여 실제 의사소통의 어려움이 발생하는 부분을 해결하기 위해서 미스커뮤니케이션이 발생하는 상황에서 미스커뮤니케이션 발생 원인과 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위한 연구를 하고자 한다. 본 연구의 과정은 문헌을 통한 자료 수집 등의 선행 연구 고찰과 실증연구 결과를 통해 결론 및 시사점을 도출하는 과정으로 진행하였다. 사전 연구 과정에서 연구 패널을 통하여 수집된 미스커뮤니케이션 상황 및 발생 원인에 대한 내용을 근거로 기준 문헌을 참조하여 설문 조사 항목을 정의하였다. 본 연구에서는 실제 의사소통 과정에서 미스커뮤니케이션이 발생하는 상황과 발생하는 원인에 대하여 실제 프로젝트 구성원을 통해 직접 확인하기 위하여 현재 프로젝트를 수행 중이거나 가장 최근에 경험했던 프로젝트의 참여자들이 응답한 설문지를 토대로 분석 결과를 위한 통계처리를 하였다. 본 연구의 방법은 요인 분석, 타당성 분석, 신뢰성 분석, 가설 검증의 순서로 설문 데이터를 분석하였고, 본 연구에서 제시한 미스커뮤니케이션의 발생 원인에 대한 분석을 통해서 얻은 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내용별 미스커뮤니케이션 발생 빈도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 의사소통 시 역할 및 주제의 모호함으로 인해 발생한다. 둘째, 의사소통 관련자들 간의 전문지식과 업무중요도의 차이에 의해 미스커뮤니케이션이 발생하며, 이는 대화자의 배경에 따라 미스커뮤니케이션 빈도가 높아진다고 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 프로젝트 구성원들의 인지 특성의 부조화로 인해 상대에 따라 미스커뮤니케이션 빈도가 높아진다. 넷째, 오프라인 방식의 의사소통 과정에서 인지 특성의 부조화로 인해 대화자간의 미스커뮤니케이션이 발생하며, 온라인 방식의 의사소통은 역할 및 가독성의 부조화로 인해 내용해석, 용어사용, 이해수준의 차이에 따라 미스커뮤니케이션 빈도가 높아진다고 할 수 있다. 프로젝트에서 업무적이거나 비 업무적인 내용으로 구성원간의 커뮤니케이션이 발생하며 다양한 요구사항과 업무의 특성들이 작용하게 된다. 이때 프로젝트 구성원의 개인적인 성향이나 업무적인 특성은 분명히 존재할 것이다. 본 연구의 한계점은 이에 대한 세부적인 의사소통 관리에 필요한 요소들과 대응 방식에 대한 연구의 연계가 부족하였다. 이 부분은 향후 연구과제 및 고려사항으로 첨가하고자 한다.
