Abstract
모든 유형의 집단이나 조직, 그리고 지역사회나 국가에는 효과적인 리더십이 필요하고, 그 같은 효과적인 리더십을 발휘할 유능한 리더가 요구된다. 그래서 리더십은 모든 집단이나 조직의 중요한 자산이며 성공요인이 아닐 수 없다고 생각한다. 그러므로 최고경영자가 갖추어야 될 리더십, 경영마인드, 가치관 등 성향은 기업문화를 형성하는데 결정적인 역할을 하게 되고 더불어 기업발전에 기여하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 한국의 기업들을 대상으로 설문조사를 한 결과로서 이를 바탕으로 최고 경영자의 특성이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석시도에서 의의를 찾을 수 있겠다. 첫째, 최고 경영자가 위험을 감수하여 사업을 확장하는 경우 차별화전략에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 둘째, 최고 경영자의 위험감수성향과 차별화 전략에 조직분권화에 미치는 영향에서는 유의하지 않은 결과가 나타났다. 셋째, 최고 경영자의 차별화 전략이 조직분권화에 미치는 영향에서도 유의적이지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 차별화 전략과 조직분권화가 기업성과에 미치는 영향에서는 기업의 차별화 전략은 기업성과에 양의 유의한 영향을 미치지만, 조직분권화는 아무런 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 위험감수성과 차별화 전략, 조직분권화가 기업성과에 미치는 영향에서는 기업의 차별화 전략만이 기업성과에 양의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 최고 경영자의 위험감수성이 기업성과에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 결과를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 최고경영자의 특성과 능력과의 관계, 이들의 적합성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 내용을 종합적인 시각에서 접근하여 실증 분석한 연구이다.; All types of groups, organizations, local communities and countries required efficient leadership, therefore a competent leader required to exert such efficient leadership. I think that leadership is valuable property of all groups and organizations and is indispensible factor to achieve success. The qualified nature of CEO such as leadership and management, business mind, his value play decisively a role to make business cultures and it also plays important a role to make for enterprise development. This study, as a result of survey to the korean companies, can be find a significant that analysis attempt against CEO's nature influences their business results. The purpose of this study, the nature of CEO based on Strategic Leadership, Upper Echelon Perspective, Contingency Theory, Path-Goal, speculate through theoretically background which what influences to the companies development and provide a basis that forecast here a nature of CEO has influences development of business culture and what is measure to change, develop. Furthermore, a nature of CEO maximize a enterprise value and would like to play a pivotal role to retain the competitive enterprise. This method of study identified through affecting factors to the enterprise cultures and measured internal validity and reliability between survey questions with fulfilled the factors analysis by surveyed the results. Analysis methods of data, first statistics processing of collected data analyze to use SPSS 12.0 statistic package program by data coding and data cleaning. To verify validity selected question as factor related to quality system and quality cost had conducted factor analysis and yielded a reliability coefficient Cronbach a each factors for the reliability verification. To analyze that the nature of CEO influences the business results strategy and organization structure, to sum up yielded a verification analysis with used a Multiple Regression Analysis as follows. First, If CEO expands his business with risk taking, it can be indicated that could influence his differentiation strategy. Second, The risk taking and differentiation strategy of CEO has influence to organization centralization shows inconsiderable. Third, The differentiation strategy of CEO that has influence to his organization decentralization shows inconsiderable. Fourth, For the differentiation strategy and organization decentralization has influence to business results, the differentiation strategy shows considerable but the organization decentralization shows inconsiderable. Fifth, For the risk taking, differentiation strategy, and organization decentralization has influence to business results, only the differentiation strategy shows considerable. Sixth, The risk taking of CEO has influences to business results shows inconsiderable. This study is analyzed, verified works as approached at the comprehensive view about the influence business results on relation between characteristic and ability of CEO and it's ability. To achieve this purpose of study, I have brought various analysis and study results but it has a limit as follows. Selecting an industries, though an object of study is limited as manufacturing industries but for future study required to expand analysis companies such as service industries, distribution industries and other industries including venture companies. Because there is a obviously difference between manufacturing industries and a service industries on the characteristic of industry, and if there carried out verification analysis for them, it could give management's or staffs in the companies more much various study results and suggestion. A population statistic characteristic in the CEO's characteristic are required at the point of launching his business but psychological, motivation characteristics are definitely more important part from the point of stable his business. There is leave something to be desired which doesn't suggest a step-by-step plan to sort, forecast precisely, complement that characteristic of CEO influence a variable in the commencement of enterprise, variable in the growth stage and variable in the maturity. For the future study, the characteristic of CEO should be more analyzed with segment at the commencement of an enterprise, meeting long-term plan of enterprise, and this results should be studied comparing before and after of education as employed education programs integrated to the recipient. And I'd like to leave studies that only environmental adaptation and nature improving brings a large companies and it's growth process with specifically and practically as fulfill program so that inspire the psychological characteristic to change CEO himself.
