노인전문병원 내 재활치료 공간구성 특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대 의학의 발달과 소득수준의 증가, 다양한 건강관리 및 예방 등으로 평균수명의 증가상승으로 인해 노인 인구수의 급격한 증가라는 결과를 가져오고 있다. 우리나라의 65세이상 인구가 전체 인구의 약 8.3%(400만명)으로 추계 되며 2020년에는 15.1%(770만명)로 매년 증가를 보이고 있다. 이러한 고령화 사회의 시작은 노인 인구가 증가함에 따라 노인성 질환도 비례하며 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 이로 인하여 현재 일반병원들이 노인환자만을 대상으 로 특성화시켜 운영하고 있는 노인전문병원이 활성화되어지고 있다. 노인전문병원은 노인의 특성에 따라 질병을 예방, 치료, 회복의 목적으로 노인전문용양시설과는 달리 따로 분리 운영되고 있다. 이는 의료행의가 서비스로 인식, 사람들의 병원에 대한 눈높이가 높아짐에 따라 병?의원들이 경쟁력 강화를 위해 노인의 특성에 맞춘 맞춤식 치료가 이루어지고, 그에 따른 실내디자인의 변화도 나타나고 있다. 앞으로 더욱이 치유공간에 대한 인식이 높아지면서 실내디자인의 변화가 크게 일어나고 있는데 반하여 노인에게 제공되고 있는 전문요양시설이나 노인전문병원간의 차이가 미비한 실정이다. 노인전문병원은 노인의 특성을 맞춘 전문적이며 고도의 기술을 필요로 하는데 현재의 상황에서는 그 기능을 다할 수 없다. 그러므로 현재 노인전문병원의 재활치료 영역이 전문화 되고 세분화됨에 따라 체계화된 노인전문병원의 재활치료공간의 기능적 특성을 모두 충족시키기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 이는 병원의 재활공간의 활성화를 통해 노인환자들에게 더 나은 치료환경을 제공할 수 있다. 최근에 노인이 많이 밀집된 지역부터 수도권까지 이러한 노인의 특성에 맞는 전문화된 병원들이 하나, 둘 형성되고 있다. 이런 노인전문병원의 특성화는 재활치료부분이 커지며 눈에 띄게 달라지고 있는데 이제 노인재활이라는 개념이 노인이 병원에 상주해 있으면서 요양형식의 치료가 아닌 단기간 입원이나 통원 치료를 통해 노인이 일상생활에서의 활동을 효율적으로 돕는데 그 의미가 있다. 노인전문병원의 재활공간은 원내 위치에 따라 효율적인 공간구성을 할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 요점이 된다. 이러한 의료시설을 이용하는 노인환자의 재활치료의 효과를 위해 물리치료뿐만 아니라 다양한 재활프로그램과 치료를 위해 일반병원에는 없는 실들이 추가하기도 하고, 한 공간을 시간 배분을 통하여 다양한 용도로 사용하기도 해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서 최근에 설립된 노인전문병원 내 재활치료공간의 특성상 면적이 넓어지고 다양한 치료공간이 구성되는 것을 알 수 있다. 그 결과 앞으로 재활치료공간의 배치는 1층 로비공간에 계획하여 병원을 이용하는 사람들에게 재활치료에 대한 인식의 효과를 높이는 한편 이를 통해 개선방향을 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 사례를 통해 개선되어 질 것이다. 또한 노인전문병원 내 재활치료공간은 노인의 특성을 맞춘 것을 대상으로 한다는 점, “신체적 안녕 뿐 만 아니라 정신적, 사회적 및 영적으로 완전한 안녕상태”를 실현할 수 있는 다양한 치료가 이루어질 수 있는 공간으로 디자인되어야 한다는 점을 중심으로 이론적 조사를 통해 공간적 요소를 추출하고 그 요소들의 특징과 차별화 요인에 대한 이론을 전개한다. 이를 바탕으로 실제 사례에 적용하여 분석함으로써 노인전문병원 내 재활치료공간이 갖는 공간적 요소에 대해 정의하고 제안한다. 이와 같은 공간적 요소는 재활치료환경에 있어서 그 중요성을 인식하고 앞으로 설계되어질 노인전문병원의 재활치료 공간에 대한 계획방향을 제시하고자 한다.; Due mainly to elongation of average lifetime from rapid advancement and development in medical technology and increase in personal income and diversified way of health care and prevention measures, it results in the number of age-old man to a drastic increment. In Korea, those 65 years old and above are estimated to account for about 8.3%(4 million) of the total population and by the year 2020, this figure will reach to 15.1%(7.7 million) with an annual increase. There is a trend in which the number of old person increases as the disease related to them increases in proportion thereto accordingly, which spells the start of the aged society. It is the reason why the hospitals in general tend to specialize the clinic only for the old. Those specialized clinics for the old run separately from the specialized retreat home for the old folks, strictly for the purpose of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation to be done according to the specific features of the patient. This has been made possible as the general public look at hospitals from the higher perspective for their practice being seen as a service. And hence for the hospital to strengthen its competitiveness, specialized treatment suited to specific features of the old can be carried out and as a result, substantial change in its interior design is being followed. While there is higher awareness of the available treatment space which triggers a more substantial change to the interior design to take place, there still lacks in difference between a specialized retreat for the old folks and specialized treatment clinic for them. Since the specialized clinic for the old requires highly skilled, professional service specifically tailored to the characteristics of the old, it is impossible for such a function to work perfectly under the current circumstances. Therefore, it requires great efforts to satisfy all functional characteristics of the rehabilitating treatments space for the specialized clinic for the old as the rehabilitating scope for treatment of the clinic has become more specialized and sectionalized. This will provide a better environment of treatment for the patients by way of reactivation of rehabilitating space available in the hospital. It is recently that a couple of specialized clinics specifically suited to the old has begun to open in regions of highly intensive of old people including the metropolitan city. The specialization of the clinic for the old is saliently different in terms of rehabilitation treatment. The changed concept of rehabilitation for the old means that it places great importance in helping the old in their day-to-day life through a short-term or outpatient treatment, not a long term stay at hospital for retreat. The rehabilitation space in the clinic is essential in that it provided environment for efficient space placement in varied location. It is because the space will have a variety of functions, which will be for the sake of the effective rehabilitation treatment of those aged patients who use that medical facilities, and not only for the physical therapy, but for a various type of rehabilitation program by creating additional space and through time sharing for a space. Therefore, this study can show that the recently established special clinic for the old has allocated wider area for rehabilitation treatment space in its special function and a variety of treatment spaces given. As a result, the rehabilitation treatment space will be located on the ground floor, which will enhance the patients' awareness of the rehabilitation treatment effectively and may offer guideline for improvement through it. Moreover, the treatment space for the old will be tailored to suit the specific features. It will be designed to accommodate and realize not only the physical well-being, but also psychological, social and spiritual integrity for a variety of treatments, with which as the basis, this study theorizes the characteristics of the essential elements and the specialization factors by extracting spatial element through theoretical investigation. Based on this, it analyses the case study into application and define and proposing the spatial elements that the rehabilitation treatment space has in the special clinic. In conclusion the study here proposes the planning guideline for the rehabilitation treatment space to be designed inside the specialized clinic for the old, with renewed awareness of the importance on the spatial element in a recently established clinic.
