가상의료도우미 정보캐릭터디자인 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

20세기, 혹은 더 광범위하게 근대가 '물질의 시대'라는 것을 부정할 사람은 아무도 없다. 20세기의 분쟁은 이데올로기의 대립을 포함하는데 그 대부분은 물질의 소유를 둘러싼 분쟁이었다고 할 수 있다. 물론 오늘날 우리 사회는 물질을 생산하는 대신 정보나 기호, 사회관계를 생산하는 것으로 그 중심이 옮겨졌지만 말이다. 서로 다른 문화간의 커뮤니케이션은 기존의 기계언어적인 커뮤니케이션 수단을 통해서는 해결할 수 없는 어려움을 가지고 있어 결국 시각적 커뮤니케이션에 대한 필요성이 요구될 수밖에 없다. 이는 미래정보환경의 방대한 시각 커뮤니케이션이 학습의 용이성과 의미의 전달성에 있어서 언어적 커뮤니케이션보다 높은 효과를 나타내기 때문이다. 따라서 커뮤니케이션 효율성을 증대하기 위해서는 이용자의 편의에 따른 사용 환경의 특성에 적합한 방대한 정보화 시대의 시각적 정보도우미 개발이 요구되어진다. 우리는 현재 유비쿼터스시대의 도래와 함께 다양한 분야에서 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 도구를 갖게 되었다. 이러한 도구들은 사회가 우리로 하여금 많은 노력과 관심을 요구하는 분야에 사용되어 저야 하는 것은 당연한 이치임에 틀림없다. 사회가 고령화 되어가고, 사람들이 건강한 삶을 갈망하는 경향을 반영하듯 Wellbeing, Slow Food, Fit-in, Down Shift 등의 사회현상의 출현과 같이 절실히 요구되어지는 분야가 바로 의료분야인데, 언제 어디서나 자신의 건강상태를 모니터링하고 개인화된 건강관리 서비스를 받을 수 있는 건강관리의 개념도 질병의 발생 후 치료에 전념하는 것에서 이제는 미리 예방하고 질병의 치료와 생활습관을 바꾸는 방향으로 전개 되고 있다. 고령화와 응급, 자가 치료 및 만성질환 등은 때와 장소를 불문하고 신속하고 정확한 치료와 방법을 요구한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리의 의료현실은 Off-line의 한계에서 벗어나지 못한 채 까다롭고 불편한 비양질의 정보와 서비스제공에만 머무르고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 글로벌 네트워크(Global Network) 사회에서 현대인의 U-Health 서비스인 언제 어디서든 자신의 건강상태를 모니터링하고 개인화된 건강관리 서비스를 받을 수 있는 U-Healthcare (Ubiquitous Healthcare)시대에 알맞은 미래정보환경에서 고객이 필요로 하는 의료상황을 중심으로 이용자를 위한 의료정보제공의 시각적 정보도우미 개발로 쉽고 효율적인 정보시스템이용에 부응하는 가상 의료정보도우미캐릭터를 개발하여 대중적이고 편리한 양질의 의료정보 제공과 서비스향상에 부합하는 미래정보화사회의 캐릭터디자인 제안과 개발에 중점을 두고자 한다. 제안한 의료정보도우미캐릭터의 특성으로는 친밀성과 다양성, 지능, 개성, 무소부재(Omnipresence)의 형태를 내재하고, 미래 환경에서의 변화된 생활에서 사용자에게 제공되는 의료정보도우미 제공기능의 가상시나리오와 이러한 특성을 가진 가상 의료도우미 캐릭터를 연령과 성별에 따른 6가지 시나리오에 대입시켜 분석 하고 의료정보도우미캐릭터의 총체적 컨셉을 제안하였다. 또한 본 컨셉에 의한 개발연구는 향후 도래할 미래정보환경에서 의료정보도우미캐릭터 디자인제시에 밑바탕이 되도록 하며, 이를 발판으로 지속적인 연구와 개발이 가속화되어지길 기대해본다.; 20th century, or in a broader view it is an 'Era of material' and there is no one who will deny this. The disputes in the 20th century embraces confrontation of ideology and most of disputes are the disputes over the possession of material. Surely today our society has moved from focusing on producing materials to producing information, preference and social relationships. The communication between different cultures have difficulties that cannot be solved through existing communication method so ultimately visual communication necessity is unavoidable. This is because visual communication has reputation to the certain level toward solving this problem because study of visual communication in the time of Ubiquitous has much higher effect in accessibility and transmissibility of information, compare to the linguistic communication therefore in order to increase the efficiency of the communication, icon development of appropriate specific environment in broad information-oriented society is needed for user's convenience. Now with the appearance of Ubiquitous period we have many tools that make better quality of life. It is fair enough reason for these tools to be used in where society is requiring for us to put more effort and concern into. An aging society, reflection of longing of life are the very evidence of appearance of wellbeing, slow food, fit-in, down shift and so forth along with the above subjects another urgently required profession is the medical treatment. The idea of health care is changing its shape from individual monitoring health service that one can check his/her condition whenever, wherever so that they can cure it if there is any problem, to preventing it beforehand and also curing illness by changing life pattern and habit. The aging society, emergent, home treatment, chronicity and etc require precise and speedy treatment disregarding time and space. However the present status of the medical treatment is blocked within the boundary of 'off-line' and also being expensive, inconvenient under-quality information. Accordingly in this observation main concern is to propose and develop the design of 'virtual remote medical information helper' in the boundary of global network society and also considering the 'digital future information-orientated society' which is appropriate term for the time being of U-Healthcare (Ubiquitous Healthcare) centered its main focus on medical status of the customers demand that will monitor one's own health condition whenever, wherever and taking individualized health care service and by having visual development of U-Health character development for the users it will provide easy, efficient information system that fulfills general, convenient, high quality information and service in the future information-orientated society.
