불임 여성의 스트레스와 배우자 지지의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 불임 여성의 스트레스와 배우자 지지의 관계를 알아보기 위함이며, 연구 대상은 서울시에 위치한 불임클리닉 외래를 방문하는 불임 여성 150명이었다. 자료 수집기간은 2007년 3월 26일부터 5월 1일까지였다. 연구 도구는 불임 스트레스 측정을 위해 김선행 등(1995)이 개발한 도구를 오미나(2001)가 수정, 보완한 것을 사용하고 배우자 지지 측정 도구는 남가실(1987)의 배우자지지 도구를 본 연구자가 수정, 보완하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하였으며 빈도와 백분율, Pearson Correlation coefficient, 평균, 표준편차, T-test와 ANOVA, Duncan의 사후검정 및 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자의 전체 불임 스트레스는 2.12점으로 다소 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 하 위영역 중 자녀의 의미 영역이 2.94점으로 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2. 전체 배우자 지지 수준은 3.92점으로 배우자의 정서적, 신체적지지 행위 수준 이 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 하위 문항 중 ‘나는 배우자를 믿고 의지할 수 있다’가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 문항 모두 평균 3점을 넘고 있어 배 우자 지지 수준은 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 3. 일반적 특성에 따른 불임 여성의 스트레스를 분석한 결과 전체 스트레스에는 어떤 특성에서도 차이를 보이지 않은 반면 집착적 사고 영역이 월수입에 따 라, 가족 적응영역이 결혼기간에 따라서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 4. 불임관련 특성에 따른 불임 여성의 스트레스 차이를 분석한 결과 전체 스트레 스가 치료기간, 비용부담, 중절경험, 부담자 유형에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 불임 여성의 스트레스와 배우자 지지 수준이 중정도의 유의한 상관관계를 보 였다. 6. 전체 불임 스트레스 영향을 미치는 요인은 배우자 지지(R2=.154), 치료비용 부담감(R2=.211)이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 총 36.5%의 설명력을 갖는 다. 이상의 내용을 종합해보면 배우자 지지가 불임 여성의 스트레스와 연관이 있으므로 대상자에게 배우자 지지를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야겠다.; The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between infertile women's stress and their husbands' support. For this purpose, the researcher sampled 150 infertile women who had visited an infertile clinic as outpatients. The survey was conducted from March 26 through May 1, 2007. In order to measure subjects' infertile stress, the researcher used a scale developed by Kim Sun-haeng, et al., (1995) and modified and complemented by Oh Mi-na (2001). And in order to measure their husbands' support, the researcher modified and complemented the 'Husband Support Scale' developed by Nam Ga-sil (1987). The data collected were processed using the SPSS program for frequencies, percentages, Pearson's correlation coefficients, means, standard deviations, T-test, ANOVA and Duncan ex post facto test and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. Subjects' overall infertile stress scored a little lower (2.12). The sub-variable of the stress scoring highest (2.94) was 'significance of having a child'. 2. Husbands' support scored 3.92, and particularly, their emotional and physical support were higher. The sub-variable which scored highest was 'I trust my wife, relying on her'. Every sub-variable scored more than 3.0 point, which suggests that husbands' overall support was relatively high. 3. As a result of analyzing subjects' stress levels depending on their demographic variables, there was found no significant difference depending on overall demographic variables. Merely, significant differences of 'obsession with a baby' were found depending on such variables as family income levels, while family's adaptation to 'no baby' differed significantly depending on length of marriage life. 4. As a consequence of analyzing the differences of infertile women's stress levels depending on their infertile characteristics, it was disclosed that the difference were significant depending on length of treatment, financial burden, experience of interruption of pregnancy and those paying for the medical cost. 5. Infertile women's stress was more or less correlated significantly with their husbands' support. 6. The factors affecting infertile women's stress were husbands' support (R2=.154) and financial burden for medical cost (R2=.211); these two factors' explanatory power was 36.5%. Summing up, since husbands' support was correlated with infertile women's stress, it is deemed necessary to find the ways to enhance husbands' support for their infertile wives.
