국내 노인전문병원 공용공간의 이용행태에 관한 건축 계획적 연구

Abstract

Because of the cultural and environ metal changes and advanced medical science, our societies are getting into an aging society and according to the rapid changes to the aging society we can not pass over the need of welfare facilities for the aged. Specially, geriatrics hospitals among welfare facilities for the aged are the hospital for the aged who need to be taken care of more than treatment at a usual hospital and the demand will be increased rapidly . So those kind of geriatrics hospitals are needed where chronic diseases and imbecility which are the common for the aged can be treated and they can take care of the aged. Not like the other hospitals, geriatrics hospitals are mostly for the long term inpatients who need to control rather than cure the disease. And hospital ward should be designed as cure environment. In that point, public area is as important as wards as a private area. I made this study to help the aged patients by building a geriatrics hospital with the idea that making nice environment for public area like dayroom and aisle can make the aged long term inpatients have nice active community and not have monotony and dullness from long staying The usage of dayrooms in ward area is limited in usual hospitals. But these days the importance is come to the fore and especially for the dayrooms of geriatrics hospitals, area arrangement mainly for the sickbeds is not recommendable which can do harm to healing environment. Because they are mainly long term inpatients who stay there more that 3 months and easily feel dullness and that is not good for the treatment. With these kind of ideas, dayroom need to be designed environment friendly to make the inpatients feel interesting and useful through involving societies, sharing information, getting friendship etc and as healing environment. Aisle for geriatrics hospitals is also different from the one for usual hospitals which are for short term curement. It should be the extension to the sickbed and dayroom even to the outside environment friendly. So aisle should be designed not only as the space for horizontal moving but for the place for the community, exercise and getting together with people. This study observed the domestic geriatrics hospitals newly designed and started and investigated the using behavior especially for the dayroom and aisle as public area then shows the way for the area to be better public area when geriatrics hospitals are designed.; 현 사회가 문화 및 환경의 변화와 의학의 발달로 인하여 고령화 사회로 진입하였으며 고령화 사회가 급속히 진행됨에 따라 노인복지시설의 필요성은 간과할 수 없게 되었다. 노인복지시설 중에서는 노인전문병원은 일반병원과 같이 치료보다는 요양을 요하는 고령 환자를 대상으로 하는 병원으로 그 수요는 급격히 늘어날 것이며 고령 환자의 유병에 특징에 따라 만성질환 및 치매 등을 치료 및 수발할 수 있는 시설인노인복지시설중 노인전문병원이 필요하게 되었다. 노인전문병원은 일반병원과 달리 치료보다는 병의 진행을 막거나 요양 등을 요하는 장기입원 환자가 대부분이어서 이에 따른 병동부에 환경이 치유환경이 될 수 있도록 설계되어야 함에 병동부의 개인공간인 병실의 환경도 중요하지만 공용부인 데이룸과 복도의 환경을 양호하게 하여 입원환자들에 커뮤니티를 돕고 장기 입원에 따른 지루함과 병원 내의 생활에 답답함을 해소하여 치료에 도움이 될 수 있는 노인전문병원을 건축하여야 한다. 일반병원의 병동부의 데이룸은 대부분 그 쓰임새가 제한적이다. 하나 요즈음에 조금씩 그 중요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이나 노인전문병원에 데이룸은 3개월 이상 장기 입원하는 환자에 특성상 병원생활에 지루함 등 치유환경에 악영향을 줄 수 있는 입원실 위주에 공간배치는 좋지 않다. 따라서 노인전문병원에서는 커뮤니티, 정보공유, 친목 등 병원환경이 흥미롭고 유익한 환경이 될 수 있도록 친환경적이며 입원환자의 치유환경적공간이 될 수 있도록 데이룸을 설계과정에서 적극적으로 도입할 필요성이 있다. 복도 또한 순간적 치료를 목적으로 하는 일반병원에 복도와 차별을 두어 병실의 연장 및 데이룸의 연장 뿐 만아니라 친환경적인 외부공간의 연장에 공간으로 복도가 활용되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 복도는 수평이동을 위한 행위 뿐 만아나라 커뮤니티, 운동, 담소 등을 하면서 외부를 조망할 수 있도록 설계가 되어야 한다. 이에 국내에서 최근에 건축하여 개원한 노인전문병원을 관찰하고 이용행태를 조사하여 비교 검토하고 병동부의 공용공간인 데이룸과 복도가 이용되는 행태를 조사 분석하여 검토하여 바람직한 노인전문병원의 공용공간이 될 수 있도록 연구하여 그 목적이 달성 될 수 있도록 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
