종합퍼포먼스를 통한 한국무용의 대중화 방안 연구

Abstract

‘관객’이라는 단어는 예술을 하는 사람들에게 아주 큰 의미를 두고 있다. 시대가 변함에 따라 관객 또한 달라지고 있는데 예전같이 자기의 신변을 보호하려고 감추기보다는 더 특별한 인상을 주고 자신을 알리기를 원하는 사람들이 많아지고 있다. 이처럼 이 시대는 더 이상 누군가 다가와 주기 보다는 먼저 앞서 나가서 상대를 이끌어 오는 적극성과 다양한 아이디어가 크게 어필하는 세대이다. 무용도 이와 같은 현상에 발맞추어 나아가야한다. 예전보다 다양한 문화 행사가 많아지고 해외의 유명한 무용단을 초청하는 등 무용계의 활동은 활발해지고 있지만 공급에 비해 수요가 현저하게 떨어진다는 점을 심각하게 받아들이고 다양한 관객층과 수를 늘리는 대중화에 힘써야 할 것이다. 이에 앞장서 시도 되고 있는 새로운 장르가 생겨나기 시작했다. 퍼포먼스 하면 일반 예술계 쪽에서만 보여주는 작품형태로만 생각되어 왔는데 지금 시대에는 장르의 구분 없이 생각하지도 못했던 무한한 부분 그리고 일상 속에서 퍼포먼스가 이루어지고 있다. 이처럼 대중들에게 까지 확산되고 있는 퍼포먼스를 이용하여 우리는 한 층 더 앞서 나아가 이들의 심리를 작용 시켜야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 대중들이 환호하고 호응하고 있는 현 시대의 퍼포먼스들을 좀 더 폭 넓게 받아들이고 이해하도록 하며 무용에 대한 고정관념에서 벗어나 하나의 흥미 대상으로 탈바꿈 시켜야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국무용이 종합퍼포먼스 속에서 타 장르와의 접목을 통해 대중에게 좀 더 친근감 있게 다가감으로서 한국무용을 대중화 할 수 있는 방안을 찾고자 한다. 방안을 찾기 위해 현재 국내에서 관객들의 호응을 받고 있는 종합퍼포먼스 단체의 작품현황과 공연관련 문서들을 조사하였으며 이를 토대로 한국무용의 대중화 방안을 연구해본 결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국무용을 중심으로 하여 다양한 타 장르와의 결합으로 대중들에게 보다 쉽게 다가갈 수 있는 공연물을 만드는데 중점을 두었다. 둘째, 관객 별 작품의 다양화로 환경과 관심에 따른 주제를 파악하고 그 안에서 소재를 끌어내어 조합해 만든 종합퍼포먼스를 통해 각 연령층에 따른 그리고 연령층 안에서 가자 기호에 맞는 다양한 레퍼토리의 작품들을 개발한다. 셋째, 종합퍼포먼스 공연을 통해 타 장르의 스폰서를 공유함으로서 공연의 홍보를 확대시켜 대중화에 기여한다.; 'Audience' puts into large meaning to artists. Audience is changing as well according to generation and people is increasing who try to impress someone specially and want to inform oneself and don't hide and protect own identity as well as before. As above, Now is a generation that positiveness to lead others and various idea appeal to people much. Dancing must grow up with keeping in step as well as this situation. Now, There are many culture events and overseas famous dance troupe's concert compared with before though, But, demand is shorter than supply. So, We must take this advice to heart seriously and put our back into popularization to increase various audience class and their number. Hereupon, New genre has been came out tried out since before with taking the head. Performance is considered as some work things shows only in general artistic circles. But Now, Performance is attaining in infinite segment and daily life without division of genre. In this way, We must consider their trial ahead of others using performance that is spreading to nations. Therefore, We must receive and understand present performances which nations can cheer and respond with open mind. And, We must change it to feel pleasantly without stereotype. So, can popularize with coming up to nations through grafting along with other genres within total performance in this study. I took inventories of document about concert and present work condition of total performance groups who audiences's interest receive on present domestic to look for the solution and I studied of popularization plan of Korean traditional dancing build on it. As a result, I got some results like the following. First of all, I put emphasis on there to make performing work to can approach into publics easily with other genres' combination based on Korean traditional dancing. Secondly, Figure out subject by environment and interest in work's diversification of each audience and create various repertories to make fit each taste by every age group through total performance made with their matter from above statements. Thirdly, Contribute to popularization expanding public information of performance by sharing sponsor among other genres through total performance.
