초등학생을 대상으로 부모의 양육태도가 완벽주의와 정서적 적응에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 양육태도에 따른 초등학생의 완벽주의, 정서적 적응의 관련성을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학생 남/녀 310명에게 부모 양육태도 척도, 완벽주의 척도, 자기애 척도를 실시하였고, 이 중 누락된 문항이 많거나 불성실하게 응답한 경우 등을 제외하고 남학생 161부, 여학생 144부가 분석에 사용되었으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 아버지의 양육태도 중에서 자녀의 부정적 완벽주의에 미치는 영향이 통계적으로 유의하였다. 하위요소인 부거부와 부과보호는 자녀의 부정적 완벽주의와 유의한 상관을 보였다. 그러나 아버지의 양육태도가 자녀의 긍정적 완벽주의에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. (2) 어머니의 양육태도 중에서 애정은 자녀의 긍정적 완벽주의와 상관을 보였고 모의 거부와 모의 과보호는 부정적 완벽주의와 유의한 상관을 보였다. 그러나 어머니의 양육태도가 자녀의 긍정적 완벽주의에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. (3) 아버지의 양육태도에 따른 자녀의 정서적 적응과의 관계에서는 양육태도가 애정적이라고 지각한 학생들은 긍정적 정서를 높게 지각하였으나 자녀의 부정정서에 아버지의 양육태도가 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. (4) 어머니의 양육태도에 따른 자녀의 정서적 적응과의 관계에서는 양육태도 하위요인인 모의 애정이 높을수록 학생들의 긍정적 정서가 유의미했다. 다른 하위요인인 모의 거부와 모의 과보호는 자녀의 부정적 정서와 통계적으로 유의미했다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때, 양육태도, 완벽주의, 자기애는 서로 유의미한 영향을 끼치며, 초등학생들은 부모의 애정이 높으면 긍정적 완벽주의와 긍정적 정서가 높으며, 부모의 거부와 과보호가 높을수록 부정적 완벽주의와 부정적 정서가 높았다.; In this paper, we presents the relationship to emotional adaptation and perfectionism according to parent's attitude toward parenting. (1) The parenting attitude of the fathers affects on the negative perfectionism of their child. The sub factor, not-deny and not-overprotection of the fathers have significant correlation with negative perfectionism of the child. However, positive affection of the fathers do not impact on the positive perfectionism of their child. (2) Parental affection among the parenting attitude of the mothers affects on the both sides of the perfectionism of their child, positively and negatively. However, attitudes of mothers do not impacts on the positive perfectionism of their child statistically. (3) For the relationship between emotional adaptation and the father's attitude, some students who recognize father's positive parental affection sense positive emotion while the father's negative affection on child do not impacts on the negative emotion of the their child statistically. (4) For the relationship between emotional adaptation and the mother's attitude, the positive parental affection of mother has effect on the positive emotion of their child (student) like the father's positive affection. However, the negative parental affection, that is, overprotection and deny, makes their child have negative emotion. From the above results, those factors, parent's attitude for parenting, perfectionism, narcistic personality, have effects on one another. Also, elementary school students tend to have more positive emotion and perfectionism if their parents also have more parental affection. On the other hand, the overprotected students or students whose parents usually deny to their children tend to have more negative emotion and perfectionism.
