Universal 도로설계 기준에 관한 연구

Abstract

우리나라는 선진국에 비해 평균수명증가 및 출산율 감소가 급속히 진행되고 있어, 고령화 사회로 매우 빠른 속도로 진입 될 것으로 전망된다. 이는 고령인구의 사회활동 증가로 이어져 도로이용자의 고령화문제로 나타날 것으로 예상된다. 고령운전자는 운전과 밀접한 관련이 있는 신체적 기능(시각기능, 청각기능, 지각기능, 심리·근육운동 기능 등)이 현저하게 쇠퇴하여 현재 도로설계기준 및 안전관리체계로는 만족시킬 수 없는 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있으며, 이러한 문제점들을 개선하기 위해서 고령자의 행태연구와 이에 따른 도로설계 요소들의 개선 그리고 사회적 안전관리체계에 대한 개선 연구가 절실히 필요하다.; A study on the standard of universal highway design conducted to set the basic plan of preparing an aging society. With the analysis of traffic accident styles and the measures of Perception-Reaction time from all the ages, a pattern from regular analysis with different plan factors is born by considering the physical natures between young and old drivers. According to the study, there are a plan of a geometric road structure for the elder and a better method for the traffic management system and safety facilities. In fore coming years, another study is supposed to be suggested, which is associated with 'smart highway' R&D project.
