베토벤 바이올린 소나타 제5번 Op.24 “봄”에 관한 연구

Abstract

음악사에 있어 고전주의 시대에는 관념론과 이상주의가 서로 대두되며, 시민 계급이 새롭게 부각되는 시대였다. 이러한 사회적 배경 속에 모든 예술은 단순하고, 명료하고, 간결하며, 인간의 실체와 정신의 조화를 이루는 것을 이상으로 하였다. 고전시대를 대표하는 악파 중의 하나인 <비엔나 고전파>의 특징 역시 간결하고 명확한 화성을 사용한 음악이었다. 이들은 기악음악에 있어 ‘소나타 형식’이라는 정형화 된 음악형식을 완성시켰으며, 베토벤에 이르러 그러한 고전 소나타 형식은 보다 구체적인 특징을 갖추게 되었다. 루드비히 반 베토벤 (Ludwig Van Beethoven)은 고전주의 말기에서 낭만주의로 넘어가는 과도기에 활동한 작곡가로서 그의 창작시기는 대체로 크게 세 시기로 나누어 볼 수 있는데 제1기(1792~1803년)는 18세기의 고전적 전통을 지향하던 시기이며, 제2기(1804~1816년)는 정신적이나, 예술적 면에서 베토벤이 새로운 출발을 시작하는 시기이며, 마지막 제3기(1817~1827년)는 그의 성숙기로 이 시기의 작품들은 낭만적인 경향이 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 베토벤의 바이올린 소나타 제5번 “봄”은 그의 창작시기 중 제2기에 들어설 무렵(1801년)에 완성된 곡으로 아직 하이든이나 모차르트의 전통적인 경향에서 완전히 벗어나지 못하였으나 보다 자유롭고 강한 개성을 잘 드러내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 베토벤의 음악교육 과정과 그의 작품세계를 비롯하여 그의 바이올린 소나타 제5번 “봄”의 형식구조와 음악상의 특징을 자세히 연구하려고 한다. 또한 본 논문의 연구를 통하여 연주자들이 작품에 대한 보다 폭 넓은 이해를 갖게 되고 곡 해석과 표현에 도움이 되기를 바란다.; At the times of classicism in the history of music, ideology and idealism raised their heads, new and powerful forces were abroad in human society. In such social background, all Kinds of art show features of simple, clear and brief. The harmony of human spirit and substance became the ideal. Viennese classicism, as one of the typical style in the times of classicism, was also music with features of brief and clear chord. A fixed instrumental music form named `sonata form' was accomplished by them, and the classical sonata form was further developed at Beethoven's period. Ludwing Van Beethoven led an active life as a major composer in the closing transitional period from Classicism to Romanticism. It has been customary to divide Beethoven's works into three periods. In the first period from 1792 to 1803, Beethoven's works naturally show most clearly his dependence on the Classic tradition. In the second period, from year 1803 to 1816, Beethoven made a new start not only from spirit but also from technique. The last period, 181.71827, in which Beethoven's music becomes more reflective and introspective. As a work finished at the beginning of the second period (1801), Beethoven's violin sonata, Op.5 <Spring> did not completely depart from the classical form and style of Haydn and Mozart, and the music showed a strong individual character of liberty and strength. In this thesis, Ludwing Van Beethoven's violin sonatas, Op.5 <Spring> was analyzed in the aspects of contents and characters. Additionally, this work was made to provide more useful information and better understanding for playing this piece.
