사용자 컴피턴시 기반의 개인화 학습 시스템

Abstract

웹 2.0 기술의 발전에 따라 사용자가 임의로 서비스 공간을 재구성할 수 있는 개인화 서비스의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이러닝 분야에서도 점차 개인화 서비스를 적용하여 사용자에게 학습 공간의 재구성을 위한 다양한 기능들이 제공되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 개인화 서비스인 컴포넌트 단위의 레이아웃 재배치는 학습자에게 컴포넌트의 디스플레이 유무 및 위치 조정만을 허용하였다. 또한 이러한 각각의 컴포넌트는 학습자별로 동일한 내용을 서비스하여 제공하였다. 본 논문은 학습 공간의 재구성을 위한 e-Space Manager와 컴퍼넌트 변경 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 컴퍼넌트 변경 기법은 시스템이 학습자의 컴피턴시를 분석하고 이 정보를 학습자가 선택한 컴퍼넌트에 반영한다. 이는 컴퍼넌트의 배치 뿐만 아니라 그 컴퍼넌트가 제공하는 내용이 학습자의 컴피턴시에 따라 변경됨에 따라 학습자는 자신에게 최적화된 학습 환경을 이용할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문의 효과를 확인하기 위해서 SQL 학습 시스템의 도메인에 적용하였다. 학습자들은 자신이 원하는 학습 콘텐츠를 선택적으로 이용하였고, 학습자에게 필요한 컴피턴시 정보가 학습 컴퍼넌트에 반영됨을 확인하였다. 그 결과, 사용자 설문조사를 통하여 기존 시스템보다 제안하는 시스템이 높은 학습 만족도를 나타났음을 확인하였다. 교수자는 제안하는 시스템을 활용하여 컴피턴시를 근거로 학습자에 따른 정교한 분석이 가능해진다. 이에 따라 개인화된 학습 환경과 학습 방법을 학습자에게 제공할 수 있을 것이다.; The requirement for customized learning environments is increasing with the development of Web 2.0 technology. To personalize services in E-learning, there are various functionalities available to the user. However, the previous customized service have only allowed display and rearrangement by unit of components. Also, each component provided the same contents to all users. This thesis proposes the e-Space Manager to reconstruct learning environment and the method for modification of components. The proposed system analyses competencies about users. And the results of analysis has influence on components which users select. That is, it provides not only the rearrangement of components but also the modification of components that has been influence on competencies about users. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed system, the e-Space Manager has been applied to SQL learning system. Users optionally used learning contents which they want. And it is confirmed that information of learner's competency had influence on learning components. Through a survey of users, the proposed study system is confirmed high satisfaction comparing to the previous system. Therefore, tutors can not only analyze user's ability precisely based on their competency but also provide how to study and customized environment to each individual.
