차량용 네비게이션 화면정보의 효율적인 정보전달을 위한 POI 개선방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 차량용 네비게이션 맵 POI(Point Of Interest) 정보의 효율적인 제공을 위해 진행됐다. 네비게이션 이용 시 발생하는 실제정보와 화면정보간의 인지적 차이(Gap)는 정확한 정보전달의 효과를 저해시켰다. 때문에 본 연구자는 이에 대한 개선 방안을 제시해 보고자 한다. 연구자는 우선 POI 정보 평가에 적합한 방법을 도출하기 위해 평가요인과 기법간의 적합성에 대한 관계를 알아봄으로써 사용자 관찰조사와 인터뷰조사를 병행하는 방법을 도출하였다, 그리고 만족도에 영향을 미치는 평가요인들에 대한 요인분석을 실시했다. 그 결과 POI에 대한 대표평가요인으로 정확성, 접근성, 직관성, 효율성을 도출하였다. 이후 결정된 대표 평가요인을 가지고 차량용 네비게이션 사용자를 대상으로 사용자 관찰조사와 인터뷰조사를 실시하였다. 관찰조사의 경우 작성된 관찰지를 토대로 사용자가 인지과정에서 느끼는 문제점과 요구를 파악할 수 있었다. 인터뷰 조사에서는 만족도와 중요도에 대한 조사결과를 비교분석함으로써 만족도와 중요도의 차이에서 오는 결핍과 이에 대한 원인을 찾아 개선방안을 도출하였다. 또한 개선방안 부분에서는 POI정보의 위치, 양, 질을 중심으로 구체적인 사례를 들어 POI정보제공을 위한 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 이는 실제정보와 화면정보간의 인지적 차이를 극복하고 운전자의 관점에서 효율적인 정보전달을 위해 POI정보 위치, POI정보 양, POI정보 질의 순서로 제시됐으며 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보의 위치에 있어서 운전자의 경로와 진행방향, 운행 중 시야 등 운전자 상황과 환경적 요인을 고려하여 운전자가 우선적으로 인지하게 되는 실제정보의 위치를 파악했다. 둘째, 정보의 양에 있어서 먼저 선정된 위치에 들어갈 정보의 양을 선정하는데 정보의 겹침으로 인한 문제점을 중점적으로 해결하고자 하였다. 따라서 화면을 기능에 따른 영역으로 구분하고, 각 영역별 면적에 따른 정보의 양과 화면정보의 구성에 따른 비율을 파악함으로써 정보의 양에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 셋째, 정보의 질에 있어서 위에서 제시한 위치와 양에 범위 안에서 운전자의 상황과 환경적 요인에 따른 인지적 차이를 중심으로 정보의 중요수준별 등급기준을 정하기 위한 고려요인을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 차량용 네비게이션 화면정보의 효율적인 정보전달을 위한 가이드라인을 제시함으로써 향후 운전자 중심의 화면 정보 디자인개발을 위한 기획, 상품화 단계의 기본정보와 평가지표로써 중요한 논리적 배경을 제공하는데 그 의미가 있다.; This research progressed for efficient service of navigation map POI (Point of interest) information for vehicles. Cognitive Difference between actuality information and screen information interfere with correct information transmission. So I wish to present improvement way by this research. First of all, I investigated relation between estimation factor and technical adaptedness to find suitable method in POI information estimation. and through this, I drew user observation investigation and interview investigation. And executed factor analysis for estimation factor that influence in satisfaction. As a result, I drew accuracy, accessibility, immediacy, efficiency for representative estimation factor about POI research. After, I Executed user observation investigation and interview investigation to vehicle navigation user with decided representative estimation factor since. In the case of observation investigation, I could find problem and request that user feels at cognitive process. In interview investigation, I find cause and lack that come from difference between satisfaction and importance, and drew improvement way. Also In improvement way part, I presented guide line about POI information's position, quantity, quality with specific case. It was presented to overcome the difference of eactuality information and screen information. and the order is POI information position, POI information quantity, POI information quality. 1. in position of information. I found overriding information position. considering driver's situation and environmental factor such as Driver's path, progress direction and visual field while drive. 2. in quantity of information. I try to solve the problem of information overlapping. For this process, I divided display by area by function and I presented improvement way by grasping ratio of information quantity and composition of display information 3. in quality of information. I presented consideration factor to decide importance grade based by driver's situation and environmental factor. This research has a meaning that presents guide line for efficient information transmission of navigation screen information. and it can be used as basis data for screen information design.
