종이접기를 활용한 활동수업 연구

Abstract

우리나라 수학교육은 교사가 학생들에게 질문을 던지고는 교사 자신이 곧바로 대답하는 방식의 설명식 수업의 형태를 띠고 있다. 이는 수학적으로 사고하는 능력과 태도의 함양이 수학교육의 궁극적 목표라는 측면에서 볼 때 잘못된 방식이라는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 우리 주변에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 소재를 수학 수업에 활용하여 학생들이 수학을 재미있게 배울 수 있도록 하기 위한 활동수업이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 교사와 학생들이 함께 활동하고 대화하고 토론하는 과정에서 수학적 원리를 이끌어내고, 학생들은 수업을 통해 스스로 종이접기 활동 속에 담겨있는 수학적 원리를 찾으며, 그것을 일반화해봄으로써 좀 더 흥미롭고 자유로운 수학적 사고를 할 수 있도록 종이접기를 활용한 활동수업을 제시하고자 한다.; The purpose of this study was to draw the mathematical principle while the teacher and the students was interacting, talking, and discussing mathematical problems altogether, for the students to find out the mathematical principle in folding paper activity, and generalize this in order to gain mathematical thinking more interestingly. For this purpose, this study suggests the activity lesson through the use of folding paper.
