전문계 고등학교 시설 복합화에 관한 연구

Abstract

국민소득의 증가와 주5일제 근무 등 생활환경이 변화하고 삶의 질이 향상되면서 지역주민들의 교육, 문화, 생활체육, 복지에 대한 욕구가 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 이러한 주민들의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 시설과 공간을 확보하고 있는 곳은 근린주구 내에 있는 학교 시설이다. 또한 현재의 교육시설정책도 제7차 교육과정의 운영으로 신교육과정에 따른 학교시설의 형태에 많은 변화와 있으며 다양화 되고 있다. 특히 전문계 고등학교의 경우 다양하게 개설되어 있는 학과와 각종 기자재, 우수한 강사진 확보 등 평생교육 시설로서의 여건을 두루 갖추고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 사회적 추세와 교육적 변화에 대응하여 전문계 고등학교시설 활용 방안에 대한 기능 및 물리적 특성을 파악하여 향후 전문계 고등학교시설 복합화 계획방향을 제시하고자 하는데 있다. 연구는 전문계 고등학교의 역할 및 기능, 전문계 고등학교의 현황을 조사해 전문계 고등학교의 당면 문제를 파악하고 그 대안으로서 전문계 고등학교 시설 복합화 관점에서 국내·외 학교시설 복합화 동향을 바탕으로 하여 복합화 계획을 설정하였다. 이에 따라 우리나라와 영국, 일본 등의 사례 조사를 실시하였고 현재의 전문계 고등학교 시설을 이용하여 할 수 있는 평생교육프로그램에 대한 조사와 이에 대응하는 전문계 고등학교의 복합화 요구를 정리하였다.; Korea has to prepare the knowledge-based society of the 21st century. It has the increasing necessity of life-long education facilities because occupations are specialized and people need knowledge and techniques. Vocational high schools had made great contributions to the economic development by supplying excellent mechanics to the industrial fields since 1960's. However, since 1990's, vocational high schools have suffered from many difficulties. So they need to improve and change in nature, according to the new economic society based on knowledge, the change of industrial structures, the introduction of life-long education, the usualization of high level education and the decreasing number of school age. Additionally, school facilities assuming more roles as the center of local community, and the current education facility policies are going through a great deal education courses. Vocational high schools might be close potential life-long education institution to their local societies because they have diverse departments, various up-to-date machinery and excellent staff. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze school facility compounding by domestic and overseas trends and patterns in line with the trend of the social demand. As for the patterns in Korea, the study results has shown that sports facilities, cultural facilities, and life-long education facilities are being compounded, however welfare facilities are still weakly incorporated. Accordingly this study researched on the space structure pattern and planning elements of compounded facilities under the premise of utilizing them for the local society reflecting the domestic trends and characteristics and intended to propose a direction for planned research on the mixed-use of vocational high school facilities.
