초등학생이 지각하는 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구에서는 초등학생을 대상으로 인터넷 이용 실태와 성별 ? 학년에 따른 인터넷 중독의 차이를 살펴보고, 가정 환경적 변인인 부모의 양육태도와 개인적 특성변인인 자기통제력이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향과 부모의 양육태도가 자기통제력에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 사이버 공간에서 초등학생에 대한 이해를 돕는 정보와 자료를 제시하고 초등학생을 자녀로 둔 학부모와 초등학생을 가르치는 교사들에게 인터넷의 중독적 사용을 예방하기 위한 프로그램을 구성하는데 필요한 기초적 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 목적을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 연구문제를 상정하였다. 연구문제 1. 초등학생의 인터넷 이용 실태와 성별 ? 학년에 따른 인터넷 중독의 차이는 어떠한가? 연구문제 2. 초등학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도에 따른 인터넷 중독 경향은 어떠한가? 연구문제 3. 자기통제력 정도에 따른 인터넷 중독 경향은 어떠한가? 연구문제 4. 부모의 양육태도에 따른 자기통제력 경향은 어떠한가? 이상의 연구 문제를 규명하기 위하여 대전광역시에 소재하고 있는 초등학교 2개교를 임의 표집하여 5학년과 6학년 학생 370명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 측정도구는 인터넷 중독 척도, 부모의 양육태도 척도, 자기통제척도이다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별과 학년에 따른 인터넷 중독의 차이검증 결과에 의하면 성별은 남자의 인터넷 중독 평균점수가 여자집단보다 유의미하게 높게 나타났고, 학년은 6학년의 인터넷 중독 평균점수가 5학년보다 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 양육태도에 따른 인터넷 중독 경향은 부모의 애정이 높을수록 인터넷 중독 경향은 낮고, 부모의 과보호와 거부가 높을수록 인터넷 중독 경향은 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 자기통제력과 인터넷 중독 성향은 부적상관으로 자기통제력이 높을수록 인터넷 중독은 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력은 아버지와 어머니 모두 양육태도의 하위유형 중 애정적 태도가 정적상관으로 나타나 이는 아버지 어머니 모두 애정이 높을수록 자기통제력이 높다는 결론이다.; This research investigates the status of internet using for elementary students. Variables related with internet addiction in each group are analyzed, which are divided in a home environment factor and a personal factor. A home environment is a parenting attitude, and a personal factor is self-control. And the influence of parenting attitude on self-control is also studied. This research is focused that it suggests the information of understanding elementary school students and makes a program for teachers to prevent students from internet addiction. Based on above objects, following subjects are studied. 1. Status of internet addiction for elementary students by a grade and sex. 2. Relation between internet addiction and parenting attitude. 3. Relation between internet addiction and self-control. 4. Relation between self-control and parenting attitude. The subjects of this research are elementary school students in Daejeon. The respondents are samples from 2 elementary schools, and a sample size is 370 (fifth and sixth grade class). The criterions used for this research are : Internet addiction, Parenting attitude, self-control. The summary of this research is following. 1. The internet addiction of boy students is deeper than girl students and the internet addiction of 6th-grade students is deeper than 5th-grade. 2. The low internet addiction are shown as the high parent's affection but, the high internet addiction as the high parent's overprotection and refusal. 3. Internet addiction is in inverse proportion to self-control. The higher self-control is shown as the lower internet addiction. 4. Self-control is proportional to parenting attitude, expecially parent's affection.
