U-Dream 경인운하의 개념정립

Abstract

기존의 아날로그 운하는 토목ㆍ물류 위주의 목적으로 건설되었으며, 이는 자연환경과 생태계를 파괴하였고 국토를 유린하여 지구를 한계 상황에 이르게 하였다. 또한 인간은 편리한 삶을 위해 도시를 난개발하고, 화석연료의 남용과 무분별한 개발 등으로 지구 온난화와 기상이변이라는 전지구적인 문제를 발생시켰다. 이러한 지구 온난화와 기상이변은 홍수와 한파, 해수면의 상승, 사막화 등을 일으켜 생물들의 서식처를 파괴시킬 뿐만 아니라 생물종의 변화, 감소 및 멸종으로 이어져 생태계에 큰 변화를 가져왔으며 이는 인류의 지속가능한 삶도 위협하게 되었다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하고 지구를 살리며 인간과 자연, 생태환경이 공존하는 공간인 U-Dream운하의 건설이 대안이 되고 있다. U-Dream 운하의 건설은 U-물길을 설치, 빗물을 재활용하여 메마른 도시에 물을 순화시켜 인간과 자연, 생태환경을 살리는 물 순환 네트워크를 구축하는 것이다. 또한 이는 기상이변으로 인한 홍수ㆍ폭우 방재 및 물부족, 가뭄 등의 해결책이 될 수 있으며, 이수, 치수, 친수 및 위락기능을 강화하여 운하주변에 레져, 관광, 스포츠, 쇼핑, 여가생활 등을 즐길 수 있는 새로운 운하 문화공간을 조성, 자연과 인간이 어울려 사는 친수 환경을 건설하는 것이다. 그리고 최첨단 IT 신기술을 이용하여 운하의 본 목적인 물류 이동을 최적화시키고, 물 순환 시스템, 교통ㆍ물류ㆍ관광 시스템, 청정생태환경 시스템, 방재 시스템을 바탕으로 인간과 자연, 생태와 환경이 함께 조화를 이루어 공존하는 도시문화공간을 창조하는 것이다.; The conventional analogue canals were constructed primarily for the purposes of civil engineering and logistics, which destroyed natural environment and ecological system and devastated the national lands, driving the earth into a marginal situation. Moreover, human beings have developed the cities rampantly for convenience of their life, overused the fossil energy with reckless development only to cause the global problems of the green house effect and abnormal weather. Such green house effect and abnormal weather have resulted in increasing floods and cold waves, rising sea level and increasing desertification only to destroy the habitate for life, mutate or reduce or extinct the species and change the ecological system, even threatening the sustainable human life on this planet. In order to solve such problems and enliven the earth, the U-Dream canals allowing for co-existence among men, nature and ecological environment is suggested as an alternative. The U-Dream canal means a water cycle network with a U-waterway recycling the raindrops to circulate the water in the barren cities and thereby, enliven human beings, nature and ecological environment simultaneously. In addition, such canal may be a solution to such problems due to the abnormal weather as flood, storm, shortage of water and draught, while serving to strengthen the functions of the rivers in terms of use and management of water as well as water-friendly entertaining life; new canal culture spaces can be created along the waterways to allow people to enjoy leisure, sight-seeing, sports, shopping and recreational activities in the water-friendly environment wherein men can live in harmony with nature. In addition, it is possible to make use of the newest IT technologies to optimize the logistic flows or the primary goal of the canal, while creating the urban cultural spaces based on the systems of water circulation, transportation & logistics, sight-seeing, pure ecological environment for harmony among men, nature, ecology and environment.
