음양오행에 의한 상징조형에 관한 연구

Abstract

그동안 창조적 조형에 관하여 우리 의식의 흐름은 주로 서구사상에서 영향을 받아 형성된 미적 사고로서 조형디자인의 가치를 서구의 미적 사고인 게스탈트(Gestalt) 조형사고에 의해 판단하는 것이 지배적이었다. 그러나 오늘날 멀티미디어 사고에 의한 커뮤니케이션 콘텐츠의 다양성은 이와같은 조형사고의 편향성(튤蕨昑)에서 벗어나 다양하고 새로운 조형사고를 필요로 하고 있다. 특히 다방면(뜩렘충)의 사고를 지닌 신세대(劤各덜)에게는 공리적이고 상관적이며 감성적인 사고의 필요성을 요구하고 있다. 세계는 지구촌 시대를 맞이하여 점점 더 다원화(뜩禱뺏) 사회로 변해가고 있으며, 서양의 논리적이고 분석주의적인 조형사고만으로는 자연적이며 유기적인 동양사상의 조형사고를 이해하기 어렵기때문에 새로운 디자인 사고의 개념이 필요하다. 즉 디자인을 위한 조형사고가 글로벌(Global)화하기 위해서는 동양사상이 모태가 되는 우리의 로컬한(Local) 사고의 영역도 함께 발전시켜야 의미가 있다. 음양오행은 우주 삼라만상(???_?f蹶)의 현상을 철학적으로 개념화한 이론으로 그 사상의 원리와 창조성은 동양사상의 핵심이며 지금까지 우리 의식의 이념적 흐름에 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 본 연구의 목적은 음양오행이 가지는 정신적 자산(?Y?b)을 상징조형을 위한 창조적 개념과 조형형태로 시각화하여 디자인의 전 영역에서 활용될 수 있도록 개념화하는 것이다. 인접 학문인 건축이나 인테리어 분야에서는 음양오행을 활용한 다양한 연구와 논문이 발표되고 있으나 조형디자인 분야에서는 이 분야에 대한 연구가 미약하였다. 그러므로 본 연구는 우리의 의식과 사고에 밀접한 관계가 있는 음양오행사상을 상징조형을 위한 디자인에 도입하여 활용하는데 초점을 두었다. 연구 대상을 상징조형에 관한 도형론으로 한정한 것은 조형디자인 분야에서라도 체계적인 이론 개념을 형성하여 조형사고에 대한 우리의 시각적 개념을 넓히는데 의의가 있다. 연구 결과, 설문조사와 분석에 의하여 음양오행에 의한 상징조형을 위한 조형 개념을 다음과 같이 정립할 수 있었다. 첫째, 음양오행에 의한 상징조형 개념을 디자인을 위한 조형사고로 설정할 수 있었다. 둘째, 음양오행에 의한 5가지 기본 도형의 창조와 조형개념을 시각화하는 것이 가능하다는 것을 발견할 수 있으며, 설문조사와 분석를 통하여 기본 도형에 대한 음과 양의 시각적 인지도 차이가 존재한다는 것을 검증할 수 있었다. 셋째, 음양오행에 의한 조형디자인에서 상생상극(宮?險??w)의 개념을 설정하여 상징조형을 좋은 의미와 피해야 할 의미의 조형개념으로 분석할 수 있었다. 넷째, 설문조사의 검증을 통하여 한국인과 일본인의 상징조형의 인식에는 지각적(列?X돨) 차이가 있었으며, 그것은 국민성과 문화적(匡뺏돨) 배경에 따른 조형사고의 차이로 해석할 수 있었다. 다섯째, 본 연구의 결론으로 기초 조형론에 대한 조형사고의 정립을 재평가 할 수있었다. 음양오행사상은 수 천년 동안 동양 문화에서 생활의 지혜이자 정신적 지표였으며, 믿음의 나침판 역할을 해왔다. 이러한 관점에서 음양오행에 의한 조형사고를 기업의 아이덴터티를 위한 상징조형으로 창조하여 적용시킬 수 있는 기초적 자료로서 의의가 있다. 시대의 흐름에 따라 기업의 경영이념은 미래의 비젼(Vision)을 제시하여야 하며, 기업의 이미지를 위한 상징도 변하게 마련이다. 이와 같은 의미에서 상징조형도 음양오행에 의한 조형사고로 실마리를 풀어나가면 기업의 발전과 미래를 위한 성공적인 이미지를 이룰 수 있을 것이다. 서양사고에 의한 게스탈트도형론에 음양오행에 의한 조형론을 접목시킨다면 보다 글로벌화를 지향하는 기업의 상징적 효과는 무형의 큰 자산이 될 것이다.; In the meantime, The flow of our consciousness about the creative shape was the aesthetic thinking concreted by the western thought and we have thought that the value of the form design judged by the Gestalt form thinking composed of the western aesthetic thinking. But today, The diversity of the communication contents by the multimedia thinking need the varied and new design form thinking escaped from the tendency toward such a form thinking. Especially, The new emotional generation held the diversity thinking have demand the necesity of the utilitarian, correlative and emotional thinking. We enter upon the global village era, the world gradually exchanged the pluralism society and we need the concept of the new design thinking, because it is difficult to understand the form thinking of the natural and organic orient thinking the only logical and analytic form thinking of the western. That is, we have to develope the domain of the our local thinking by the Orient thought in order to globalize the form thinking for design. The Yin-yang and Five Elements is the theory which concepted philosophically the phenomenon of University and the principles and creativeness of the thought were the core of the Oriental thinking and its have been played an important role in the ideological flow of the our consciousness. The purpose of this thesis is that the spiritual property with The Yin-yang and Five Elements visualize on the creative concept and the form figure for the symbolic form and conceptualize to applied the whole category of the design. The various study and thesis applied the Yin-yang and Five Elements have been announced in the architecture design field and the interior design field but this study was feebled in the form design field. Therefore, this study focused that the Yin-yang and Five Elements thinking intimately related between our consciousness and thinking focused to make good use of the design for the symbolic form. To restrict the study object within the figure theory related the symbolic form, I wish to expand the our visual concept about the form thinking only to build up the systematic theory concept in the form design field. As a result of the study, The form concept for the symbolic form by the Yin-yang and Five Elements toward the question investigation and analysis were as follows. The first, I established the concept of Symbolic Form by the Yin-yang and Five Elements as the form thinking for design The second, I could found out it makes possible to visualize the creation of the five basic figure and the form concept by the Yin-yang and Five Elements and could verified that the visual cognution difference of the Yin-Yang regarding to the basic figure throught the question investigation and analysis is existent. The third, I establish the concept of the sang seang and sang guk against the form design by the Yin-yang and Five Elements and could analyzed the symbolic form as the auspicious and inauspicious form concept . The fourth, I understood there was the perceptional difference in the cognitions of Korean's and Japanese's the form thinking throught the verification of the question investigation and could interpreted it was the difference of the form thinking as the national character and cultural background. The fifth, In conclusion of the study, I could revaluated the establishment of form thinking regarding the basic form theory. The Yin-yang and Five Elements was the wisdom and index of our life in the Orient culture and have been a role the compass of the trust during the thousands of years. From this point view, there was a meaning as a fundamental data to able to applied the Form thinking by the Yin-yang and Five Elements to create the symbolic form for the identity of an enterprise. According to the flow of the era, the management idea of the enterprise present the vision of the future and the symbol for the image of the enterprise was exchanged. Meanwhile, the Symbolic Form will realize the successful image for the development and future of the enterprise if it solve the clue as the form thinking by the Yin-yang and Five Elements. If it graft the the Form theory by the Yin-yang and Five Elements into the Gestalt form theory by the western thinking, the symbolic effect of the enterprise pointing toward the globalization will be the great formless asset.
