Francis Poulenc의 <La courte paille>에 대한연구

Abstract

<La coute paille>는 모리스 카렘므(Naurice Careme, 1899~1977)의 시를 가사로 한 모음곡으로 그의 오페라에 출연했던 소프라노 드니즈 뒤발(Denise Duval)의 여섯 살 난 아들을 위해 1960년에 작곡되었다. 모두 7곡으로 되어 있으며, 대부분 길이가 짧은 어린이를 위한 동요 유형의 곡들이다. 이 작품은 낭송적인 선율과 간결한 리듬의 사용으로 단순함과 간결미가 돋보이는 풀랑의 특징을 잘 나타내 주고 있으며, 가사의 내용을 나타내기 위한 다양한 기법이 사용되어 어린이의 흥미를 유발시킨다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 풀랑의 생애와 그 배경이 되었던 20세기 전후 프랑스음악의 특징을 살펴보고, 풀랑의 음악세계를 특징적 시기별로 구분하여 개관한 후, <La courte paille>의 7곡을 대상으로 각 곡에서 노래와 반주와의 연계, 가사와의 연관성 등을 구체적으로 분석하였다.; Poulenc composed <La courte paille> in 1960 based on the poem by Maurice Car?me(1899-1977). This work consists of 7 songs of which each song has a style of children's song. The work represents his musical characteristics with declamative melody and simple rhythm. It shows his deftness as a m?lodie composer by using various musical techniques to engage children's interest. In this thesis, Poulenc's life and the character of the french music around the 20th century was discussed , then his musical style was examined period by period. Finally, his musical features were studied by analysing 7 songs of <La courte paille> in connection with its music and texts.
