도시 속 유휴 공간을 활용한 문화공간을 위한 건축적 제안

Abstract

도시의 변화를 요구하는 파도가 거세다. 20세기의 동력을 잃은 현대 도시는 대수술을 경험하고 있다. 발전과 진보를 상징하던 많은 건물과 시설이 애물단지로 전락하고 있다. 변모된 경제 구조와 산업 시스템은 종래와 같은 토지 이용을 허용하지 않는다. 수명을 다한 도로나 항만, 공장 이전지, 쓰레기 매립지, 방치된 오염지, 폐기된 대형 토목 구조물, 버려진 도시 공간 등 예전 도시에서는 볼 수 없던 땅과 시설이 도시, 조경, 건축 전문가의 지혜로운 수술과 처방을 고대하고 있다. 점증하고 있는 유휴 철도 부지 역시 유사한 사회, 경제적 배경과 도시 콘텍스트 속에 놓여 있다. 국내외에서 발생한 유휴 철도 부지의 대다수는 사실 이름도, 흔적도 없이 사라지고 있다. 방치된 채 풀에 뒤덮이기도 하고 새로운 도로와 건물의 지층이 되는 경우도 허다하다. 그러나 몇몇 도시에서는 유휴 철도 부지를 도시의 소중한 공공 공간으로 전환 시키거나 효과적인 재개발 프로젝트를 통해 도시에 새로운 활력을 불어넣는 시도를 해 성공한 바 있다. 경의선 구간에 공원화 계획이 발표되면서 공공공간의 조성과 경제적 이익 창출을 위한 재개발 사이에 충돌이 일어나기도 했다. 경의선 구간에 주변 지역의 도시 정체성과 이미지를 강화 할 수 있는 프로그램을 담고 도시를 재생할 수 있게 계획한다.; There is a strong call for changes to be made in cities. moderncities, which have lost the dynamic force characteristic of the 20th century, are undergoing major transformations. These lands and facilities, which did not exist in the cities of the past, are eagerly awaiting rescue by the wise prescriptions and surgeries proposed by urban design, landscaping, and expert architects. Disused railroad sites, increasing in number, have also had a similar fate due to social and economic conditions. Most of the disused railroad sites at home and abroad are disappearing without a trace. They are neglected, in some cases, eventually becoming covered by Grass. There are many cases where new roads or buildings are built on top of them. However, some cities have successfully changed these sites into precious public spaces, or have used them as a means to restore vitality to the respective cities, based on effective redevelopment projects. A plan for the transformation of the abandoned Yongsan railroad has been drawn up and announced.
