인터넷 음란물이 청소년의 학습 집중도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

정보사회와 인터넷의 발달로 청소년들은 보다 쉽고 빠르게 컴퓨터를 이용할 수 있게 되어 교육적인 효과가 증가하고 있는 반면, 인터넷을 통한 불건전한 음란물에 쉽게 접촉하게 되어 인터넷 음란물이 청소년에게 미치는 부정적인 영향력이 크게 우려되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 청소년들의 음란물 접촉 실태를 파악하고 인터넷 음란물이 청소년의 학습 집중도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 조사대상은 경기도 K시 중?고등학교 재학생 680명을 대상으로 2008년 8월26일부터 9월10일까지 설문조사를 하였으며 SPSS/Win Program(ver. 12.0)을 이용하여 통계처리 하였다. 연구대상자들의 음란물 접촉 유무를 파악한 결과 대상자의 70%이상이 음란물에 접촉한 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 음란물에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과 남학생이 여학생보다 음란물에 대해 허용적이고, 여학생은 부정적인 인식이 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 인터넷 음란물 접촉 실태를 분석한 결과 최초 음란물 접촉 시기는 중학교 때가 가장 많았고, 인터넷 음란만화나 사진, 소설, 동영상을 보는 학생들의 비율이 전체적으로 30%이상이었으며, 인터넷 음란물 접촉 소요시간은 15분미만이 가장 많았고, 접속한 40%이상의 학생들이 자위행위를 경험하였으며, 소수학생이지만 실제 성관계로 이어지는 학생들이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 인터넷 음란물에 접촉한 학생들의 일반적 특성에 따른 학습 집중도에서는 여학생, 성적과 경제수준이 중위권, 부모의 학력이 낮거나 이성친구가 없을수록 학습 집중도가 높게 나타났고, 인터넷 음란물에 접촉이 적을수록 학습 집중도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 인터넷 음란물의 학습 집중도에 영향을 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 다변량 회귀분석결과에서 인터넷 음란물이 청소년들의 학습 집중도에 가장 영향을 미치는 변수는 음란물을 보는 빈도와 시간으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과, 인터넷 음란물은 청소년들의 학습 집중도에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 청소년들이 음란물에 대한 판단력을 가질 수 있도록 학교에서 체계적인 성교육프로그램을 실시하고, 가정과 사회, 정부가 한뜻으로 청소년들을 보호하고 이끌어 나가려는 노력이 절실히 필요하다고 사료된다.; Due to the development of the information society and the internet, teenagers can access information off the internet easily and quickly. While the effect on education is beneficial, teenagers are also able to access sites with unsound content. The negative influence of this pornographic material on today's youth has become a matter of great concern. Researchers are investigating the actual conditions of juvenile contact with pornographic material. A survey of 680 students from middle and high school in K city of Kyunggi-Province was conducted between August 26, 2008 and September 10, 2008, in order to research the influence of this exposure on teenagers. It was analyzed by using SPSS/Win Program(ver12.0), with the following results. More than 70% of the students had been exposed to pornographic material. Male students were more accepting of this content than female students, who had negative views of this exposure. Most students were first exposed to pornographic material in middle school.30% of students had viewed pornographic animation or pictures, novels and movies, for an average time of 15 minutes. 40%of students who had been exposed to this pornographic material had masturbated, and a minor number of students had engaged in sexual intercourse. Regarding the effect of exposure to pornographic material on concentration, female student, students whose parents had lower education and students who did not have friends of the opposite sex showed a higher ability to concentrate on academics. Results of the multi-variate regression analysis indicates that increased frequency and time spent viewing pornographic content negatively affected the student's ability to concentrate. This research shows that exposure to pornographic content on the internet has a negative influence on adolescents' ability to concentrate. To counter this problem, schools should engage in systematic sex education in order to develop sound judgement abilities in juveniles, especially regarding pornographic material. Further, families, our society and our government should work together in order to protect and guide our youth.
