국어과 매체언어교육에서 다큐멘터리 교육의 내용과 방법 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 미디어 교육과 미디어 이론서를 바탕으로 하여 국어교과 내에서 매체언어 교육의 한 분야로서 체계적인 다큐멘터리 교육의 내용과 방법을 제시하였다. 먼저, 다큐멘터리 교육의 기초를 마련하기 위해 영상매체를 중심으로 한 미디어교육과 국어교과 내에서의 미디어 교육의 내용을 살펴보았다. 다큐멘터리에 대한 이론적 접근으로 이론서를 바탕으로 다큐멘터리 교육에 필요한 내용 요소들 즉, 다큐멘터리의 개념과 특성, 유형, 미디어 비평 방법과 영상 제작 방법 등을 살펴보았고, 미디어교육과 국어교육 내에서 기존에 이루어진 다큐멘터리 교육의 학습 내용들도 찾아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 다큐멘터리 교육의 학습 내용들을 다큐멘터리에 대한 이해’, ‘다큐멘터리의 수용’, ‘다큐멘터리의 제작’ 세 영역으로 구분하여 제시하였고, 2007 개정 ‘매체언어’ 교육과정의 내용 체계에 따라 다큐멘터리 교육 내용을 체계화하였다. 또한, 구체적인 교육 방법을 제시하기 위해 다큐멘터리 교육 모델을 마련하고, 다큐멘터리 교육의 교수·학습 계획을 4차시로 나누어 학습 목표와 학습 내용으로 구체화하여 제시하였다. 교수·학습 방법에 대한 자세한 설명도 덧붙였다. 영상매체를 중심으로 한 미디어 교육을 기초로 하여 미디어 교육에서의 다큐멘터리 교육과 국어교과에서의 다큐멘터리 교육의 내용을 최대한 포함하였고, 다큐멘터리에 관한 이론도 함께 실어 다큐멘터리에 대한 개념 이해에서 교육 방법에 이르기까지 다큐멘터리 교육에 대한 기본 방향을 제시하였다. 부족한 연구이지만, 국어교과 내에서 매체언어 교육의 한 분야로서 다큐멘터리 교육의 내용과 방법을 제시해 보았다는데 의의를 있다. 앞으로 2007 국어과 및 ‘매체언어’ 교육과정을 바탕으로 한 교과서의 다큐멘터리 단원을 구성하는데 도움이 되었으면 하고, 현장 교사들이 다큐멘터리 교육을 하는데도 쉽게 활용할 수 있게 되기를 바란다.; This study presents with the contents and method of documentary education which is the accepted media literacy of systematic Korean education from media education and theory. This research investigates the focuses of the visual media between with media education and media-literacy of Korean education from preceding research for the basic of documentary education. As theoretical approach about documentary, this survey to the contents elements which are necessary to a documentary education, that is the concept and quality, types of documentary and media criticizing and visual production method of documentary from theoretical book about documentary. This found the contents of documentary education in three territories, 'Comprehension of documentary', 'Critical analysis of documentary', 'Production of documentary' on the above data. And presents a solid educational model and studying strategies of documentary education is included in the 4 hours-studying of concrete studying aims and contents but also detailed explanation about the studying method. This includes the contents of documentary education which is executed in media education and media literacy of korean education in visual media, documentary theory which is from comprehension to method in documentary education, so this presents the basic direction of the documentary education presents in media literacy of korean education. This study was not perfect, but it has significance in presenting the contents and methods of documentary education which belongs to the media literacy of Korean education. This helps to establish documentary chapter of Korean textbooks according to 2007 national curriculum of Korean and 'media literacy', and also I hope Korean teachers apply this research easily when they teach documentary education.
