영어교육 웹사이트의 특성이 초등학생의 학습태도 및 커뮤니티 몰입도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 영어교육 관련 웹사이트의 특성이 사이트 이용 초등학생들의 영어교육 사이트 이용에 따른 영어교과에 대한 학습태도의 변화 및 사이트 커뮤니티에 대한 몰입 정도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 경기지역 남녀 초등학생 4, 5, 6학년으로서 각 변수에 대해 Likert 5점 척도로 구조화된 설문지를 측정도구로 사용하여 최종 176부에 대한 설문자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 독립변수인 영어교육 웹사이트 특성의 측정을 위하여 구조적 간결성, 탐색의 편리성, 정보의 질, 정보전달요소 무결성, 기본서비스의 질, 부가서비스의 질, 커뮤니티 지원 등의 7개 하위요인으로 요인화하였다. 또한, 학습태도의 경우의 영어교과에 대한 흥미도 및 영어교과 학업에 대한 목적의식, 학업에 대한 성취동기, 주의집중, 학습에 있어서의 자율성 등의 5가지 하위 요인으로 구성하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 학년별로 초등학생들의 영어교육 웹사이트 특성과 웹사이트 이용 후 학업태도, 커뮤니티 몰입도 등을 검증하기 위해 일원변량분석(One Way-ANOVA)을 실시하였으며, 영어교육 웹사이트 특성이 웹사이트 이용 후 학업태도와 커뮤니티 몰입도에 미치는 영향과 웹사이트 이용 후 학업태도가 커뮤니티 몰입도 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 분석에 근거하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 영어교육 웹사이트 특성 하위 변인 중 기본서비스의 질과 커뮤니티 지원 요인이 초등학생들의 영어 학습태도에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 가운데 특히, 웹사이트의 기본서비스의 질이 영어 학습태도에 미치는 영향력이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 영어교육 웹사이트 특성 변인 중 정보의 질과 기본서비스의 질과 커뮤니티 지원 요인이 초등학생들의 커뮤니티 몰입도에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상대적 영향력은 웹사이트의 커뮤니티 지원 요인의 영향력이 가장 크며, 다음으로 정보의 질, 기본서비스의 질 등의 순으로 커뮤니티 몰입도에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 영어교육 웹사이트에 대한 학습태도 변인 중 성취동기와 자율학습 요인이 초등학생들의 커뮤니티 몰입도에 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상대적 영향력은 웹사이트의 자율학습 요인이 성취동기 요인에 비해 초등학생들의 커뮤니티 몰입도에 미치는 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 분석되었다.; The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of English Education Web Site characteristics on learning attitude and community immersion of elementary school students. This study investigated male and female elementary school students. and 176 forth, fifth, and sixth grade students were participated to analyze. Likert 5 points for each variable to measure and structured questionnaire used as a tool for the final survey data. In a study of English Education Web site attributes about 7 factors which are structured brevity , ease of navigation, quality of information, elements of information integrity, the quality of basic services, the quality of value-added services, and community support In addition, the learning attitude of the English curriculum consist of 5 kinds of sub-factors. such as study with interest and sense of purpose, achievement motivation from the study, focused attention, and self discipline, Statistically tool SPSS 12.0; one way -ANOVA was applied. an inspection of evidence for the studying attitude and community immersion of elementary after using web site and was applied multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis about effecting for the studying attitude and community immersion of elementary after using web site. From these analysis, the following conclusions were drawn. First, English Education Web site characteristics was effected on studying attitude that had analysed to come up with the most effective factor like basic service quality and community support. Second, other relative factors such as quality of information and quality of basic services have a positive influence on English Web site characteristics that affected community immersion . for further explanation, It means that information quality can be powerful and next is basic service quality and community support. Finally, achievement motivation , self-control on studying attitude was effected about community immersion of elementary school students It means that self discipline on studying can be powerful and next factor is community immersion.
