생태연결 구조물의 효율성 제고

Abstract

본 연구에서는 도로건설,택지개발등으로 파괴되는 야생동물 서식지를 보완해 줄 수 있는 생태통로의 적절한 설치방안에 대하여 고찰 하였다. 새로운 도로건설로 교란된 환경으로 변해버린 서식지로 인해 동물 개체수에 직접적인 영향을 주는 로드킬(road-kill)의 직·간접적인 원인에 대하여 살펴보고, 우리나라의 로드킬 사례를 분석한 후 로드킬 저감방안에 대해 고찰 하였다. 다음으로는 로드킬 방지의 대안으로 제시된 생태통로에 대한 개념, 생태통로의 유형을 알아보고 국내사례를 고찰한 후 국내 생태통로에 대하여 계획단계 설계 및 설치단계, 설치완료후의 문제점에 대하여 알아보고 개선방안을 제시 하였다. 또한 선진 외국사례를 비교하여 우리나라 생태통로 설치시 참고하도록 하였다. 우리나라에 서식하는 야생동물의 종별 서식생태 분석을 통해 그에 맞는 연결통로가 되도록 고찰하였으며 부대시설 조성시에도 각각의 종에 맞는 시설 설치 방안을 검토 하였다. 또한 생태통로 조성의 효율적 개선방안을 제시하였는데, 첫째, 생태통로 조성단계에서 그 지역 현상을 정확히 분석하여 그 종에 맞는 생태구조물이 설치되도록해야 하고, 생태통로를 설치하는데 그치는 것이 아니라 사후 관리에도 많은 연구와 투자가 있어야 함을 강조했다. 또한 생태통로의 조성은 전문가 집단에 의해서 조사 연구되고 설치되어야 함을 피력했다. 마지막으로 기조의 야생동물보호정책에 있어 생태통로의 중요성을 깊이 인식하여 효율적인 설치가 되어야 하고 사후관리에 더욱 많은 관심이 있어야 할 것으로 사료된다.; The purpose of this study was to explore the ways to construct the ecobridges appropriately to protect the habitat of the wildlife being destroyed by construction of roads and development of housing sites. For this purpose, the researcher examined the direct and indirect causes for 'the road-kill' or the environment changed and disturbed by road construction which affects the population of the animals directly, and then, analyzed the cases of the 'road-kills' in Korea and suggested the ways to reduce them. Next, the researcher reviewed the concept and types of the ecobridges suggested as alternative to prevent 'the road-kills' and then, examined the domestic and foreign cases of 'the road-kill' and thereupon, addressed the problems at stages of planning, installing and managing the ecobridges and thereby, suggested their solutions. In addition, the model cases of advanced nations for the ecobridges were compared to our cases to be referred to. On the other hand, the researcher analyzed the habitats of the wildlife in Korea by species to find the proper ecobridges for each of them and examined the ways to install the auxiliary facilities for each species of the wildlife. The researcher suggested the ways to improve the ecobridges. First of all, it was deemed necessary to analyze the conditions of the habitats precisely at the stage of creating the ecobridges, so that the ecological structures suitable to the subject species could be installed. And after their installations, the ecobridges should be managed effectively through continued research and investment. Furthermore, ecobridges should be surveyed, reviewed and installed by the expert group. Lastly, it is deemed necessary to be aware of importance of the ecobridges to protect the wildlife and thereby, install and manage them effectively.
