이매방류 무당춤 형식 연구

Abstract

This study aims at providing the basic data on Mudangchum of Woobong Meabang Lee's style, and records, preserving to Mudangchum through evidence & interview of Meabang Lee. In order to achieve such an aim, first, the methods of documents study and interview were arranged & recorded. Second, movements of every beat were recorded into photos by selecting a dancer, dressing her a shamanist costume and performing on the stage. Third, the course of dance & sight of the dancer were recorded. Fourth, movements in a beat were analyzed & explained to analyze dance movements & beats. As the result, the conclusions of this study are like followings. First, as for the dance movements, movements of Mudangchum are lively, active, and joyful, and have many running movements & various dance movements. There are dance movements in Mudangchum unable to find out in the Buddhist dance, exorcising dance & Ipchum. The features of Meabang Lee's dance are voluptuous beauty with sexy, and it contains every charm of motion amidst rest. Second, as for the costume of Mudangchum, when the costume is gorgeous & magnificent, its miracle can be expressed well. It's the reason why costume of Mudangchum is splendid with the five cardinal colors. It's composed of five colors, in other words, red, yellow, white, deep blue & green. In addition, colors must be clear to increase a mystique by the light on the stage. Third, music of Mudangchum is the one of three-strings & six-angles, and composed of Nanta, dodry 12 beats, taryeong 18 beats, dangak, 22 beats, non-accompaniment, Gutgeori 20 beats, and Dangak 30 beats. Mudangchum of Meabang Lee's style differs from its feelings & forms every beat. It means pleasure & taste impressed by the dance are various according to each beat. In the dance of Mudangchum, a beat changes diversely and, as the result, dance also does as known from the saying of Meabang Lee that "Be capricious like boiling porridge". On conclusion, Mudangchum implies the various dance movements & motions, splendor of color costume, unable to find out in other dances, and caprice unable to predict consistency or system of dance. Therefore, becomes feed with the fact that the historical research which relates in creation process and music and the dress of exorcist dance must become accomplished, Also, historical of exorcist dance and philosophic, about cultural human school register background etc. the research comes to be supported theoretically, as intangible cultural property there makes be a possibility of raising a value and expects.; 이 연구는 이매방류 무당춤에 대한 기초 자료를 제공 하고 생존해 계시는 우봉이매방 선생님의 증언과 인터뷰로 무당춤을 기록하고 보존하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 문헌 연구 방법과 인터뷰를 녹취하고 정리하였다. 둘째, 무용수를 한 명 선정하여 무복을 입히고, 실연 시켜 장단마다의 동작을 사진으로 기록하였다. 셋째, 춤의 진행 방향과 무용수의 시선을 기록 하였다. 넷째, 춤사위와 장단을 분석하기 위해 장단 내에 동작을 분석하여 설명 하였다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 결과 및 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 춤사위 측면에서 볼 때, 무당춤의 춤사위는 박진감 있고, 활달하며, 흥이 나고, 뛰는 동작이 많으며 다양한 춤사위를 가지고 있다. 승무나, 살풀이춤, 입춤 등에서는 찾아 볼 수 없는 뛰는 춤사위, 사방치기 춤사위, 흔드는 춤사위, 휘젓기 춤사위, 터는 춤사위 등이 무당춤에는 들어 있다. 이매방의 춤은 요염하고 성적으로 매력이 있는 정중동의 멋이 이 춤에 모두 담겨 있다는 것이 특징이다. 둘째, 무당춤의 의상에 관한 관점에서 볼 때, 무당춤의 의상은 화려하고 웅장해야 그 영험함을 더 잘 표현 할 수 있다. 그러한 이유로 인해 무당춤의 의상은 오색찬란하다. 빨간색, 노란색, 흰색, 남색, 초록색 오색으로 구성되어 있으며, 색이 선명해야 무대에서의 빛으로 인해 신비함을 더 가지게 된다. 셋째, 무당춤의 음악은 삼현 육각의 음악으로 난타, 도드리 12 장단, 타령 18 장단, 당악 22 장단, 무반주, 굿거리 20 장단, 당악 30 장단으로 구성 되어있으며, 이매방류 무당춤은 각 장단에 춤의 느낌이나 형태는 매우 다양하다. 즉, 각각의 장단에 따라 그 흥과 춤 속에 스며있는 맛이 다양하다는 의미이다. 결론적으로 무당춤은 다른 춤들에서 찾아볼 수 없는 다양한 춤사위와 동작, 의상의 화려함과 춤의 일관성이나 체제를 예측할 수 없을 만큼의 다양성이 내재되어 있다. 그러므로 무당춤의 생성과정과 음악, 복식에 관계된 역사적 연구가 이루어져야 할것으로 사료되며 또한 이론적으로 무당춤의 역사적, 철학적, 문화인류학적 배경 등에 관한 연구가 뒷받침되어져 무형문화재로서 가치를 높일 수 있게 되기를 기대한다.
