dc.description.abstractAs the development of communication and network techniques, it can provide more fast and seamless data transmission service to network users. With the development of wireless network, users can also hope to use more faster network service whereever and whenever. Thus, according to the quick increase of requirement of broadband radio communication, the IEEE 802.16 was standardized. IEEE 802.16 has the advantages of fast data transmission, wide coverage range, salability and provision of many multimedia service. However, when node moves, it cannot provide many service. Therefore, IEEE 802.16e is standardized. However, when the number of nodes increase, network resource allocation is less efficient. Additionally, the mobile nodes handover can increase the transmission delay and lead to packet loss. In this paper, we have studied the problem of handover by analyzing the IEEE 802.16e architecture and proposed an efficient handover scheme to reduce the delay due to the delay due to the handover.-
