The objective of this thesis is to show a plan for rebuilding the Mexican Embassy and cultural facilities in Seoul, Korea. The Mexican Embassy has been in the area of Han-nam since 1991. The design process and the factors that influenced this design will hopefully be useful for future readers in preparing or developing similar projects. As a reference material the ideas might help them find a solution for the problems they meet. The difficulty that I faced in designing a New Mexican embassy and cultural center was how to design a single building which can serve several purposes, how to incorporate these facilities in one single building: an embassy, a cultural center, and an image of Mexico. This thesis has four parts: the first part is an introduction about the theoretical foundations of the design; the second part is about Mexican cultural and architectonic elements as ideas for this design, the selected place (site) for developing the project, and land use restrictions of the chosen site; the third section is about the conceptual architecture (or structure) of the building, planning and some technical points; the last part represents the conclusion which sums up the solution to designing the new Mexican embassy and cultural center in Seoul.-
