기독교 윤리학적인 영화 비평론의 모색

Abstract

본 연구는 기독교적인 시각으로 영화를 비평하기 위한 체계적인 방법론을 모색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 그러기 위해서 먼저 본 연구는 한국 기독교 영화 평론계의 경향성 분석을 시도하고 있다. 물론 한국에는 적지 않은 기독교 영화 평론가가 존재하기 때문에 그 모두를 대상으로 분석할 수는 없다. 때문에 본 연구에서는 활발하고 지속적인 활동 중에 있는 정혁현, 하정완, 박태식 평론가를 중심으로 한국 기독교 영화 비평계의 경향성을 연구해 본다. 그 다음으로 본 연구는 대표적인 기독교 문화 이론을 소개한다. 이것은 앞서 살펴본 한국 기독교 영화 비평의 제 문제를 극복하기 위한 단서를 찾아가는 과정이면서, 동시에 이전 문화 이론의 한계를 지적하기 위한 것이기도 하다. 여기에서 소개되는 이론가로는 리차드 니버(H. Richard Niebuhr), 프란시스 쉐퍼(Francis A. Schaeffer), 그리고 니콜라스 월터스토프(Nicholas Wolterstorff)등이다. 또한 그 다음 장에서는 본 연구의 핵심 내용이라고 할 수 있는 케빈 밴후저의 문화신학 이론을 소개하면서 기독교 영화 비평의 바람직한 상을 그려 본다. 특별히 밴후저의 이론이 한국 기독교 영화 비평의 대안이 된다고 생각하는 이유는 그의 이론이 ① 문화 텍스트의 명시적인 내러티브를 초월하여 실질적인 내용을 해석하고자 시도하고 있으며, ② 매우 실천 지향적이면서 동시에 기독교 철학적 사유의 깊이를 동시에 지니고 있기 때문이다.|The purpose of this study is to seek the systematic methodology to criticize the film in a christian viewpoint. Therefore, this study attempts the analysis of tendency in the critics group of Korean christian movie. Definitely, we can't analyze all of the christian movie critics as there are too many in Korea. For this reason, this study will research the tendency of Korea's christian movie critics and the central objects of study are Cheong,hyuk-hyun, Hah,jung-wan, Park,tae-sik who do continuos activity. Next, this study introduces the theory of typical christian culture. This is the processes to find the clue to overcome several of christian movie criticism which were previously raised. We will introduce several critics such as H. Richard Niebuhr, Francis A. Schaeffer, and Nicholas Wolterstorff. In addition, in the next chapter, I will depict desirable christian movie criticism by introducing the theory of Kevin J. Vanhoozer's cultural theology which is the core content of this study. Especially, I think that, the theory of Vanhoozer can be an alternative to the christian movie criticism in Korea is as follows. ① it attempts to analyze the actual content transcending evincive of cultural text. ② it is very practice-oriented and simultaneously it has the depth of christian philosophical speculation.; The purpose of this study is to seek the systematic methodology to criticize the film in a christian viewpoint.
