dc.description.abstractIn order to examine the existing performance of our management policy on radioactive waste and its associated service performance system, and also for the national legal system maintenance of the high-level waste efficient safety control, the current case of an exemplarily progressed radioactive waste disposal and its research study have been analyzed and a desirable application plan was proposed on how we can apply it to our circumstances. For the foreign country atomic energy waste management state of condition investigation, the six known advanced countries such as the U.S.A, Canada, Sweden, Finland, France and Japan was investigated. In addition, a domestic atomic energy waste management state of condition was comprehended and the program regarding the waste management efficiency was ultimately compared. In foreign countries, the agencies every institution controlling the radioactive waste differed and the according policy also resulted to have many differences. Majority of countries was shown to have the national institution control over and in some countries, private company controlling institutions existed as well. The insufficient sides must be supplemented by the five following proposals to the research study later on. 1. Secure the citizens’ trust on the safety control of the radioactive waste. 2. Review the policy direction regarding nuclear fuel after use. 3. Propel the establishment of the mid-long term viewpoint research and development program. 4. Modify the domestic system prepared for the initiation of the international agreement. 5. Review the reinforcement of atomic power regulation system.-
