Abstract
국문초록 오늘날 우리의 음악 교육은 많은 발전을 이루었고, 여전히 성장하고 있다. 이렇게 우리의 음악교육이 체계화되고 다양해지면서 음악 교사들은 더욱더 능동적인 자세와 개방적인 사고로 다양한 교수법을 연구하고 적립하여야 한다. 본 논문은 음악의 여러 학습 영역 중 감상영역에 대한 내용을 다루고 있으며, 특히 20세기 음악에 대한 교수-학습 지도 방법을 중심으로 연구하였다. 20세기 음악이 가지는 독창성과 다양성은 학생들에게 개성적이고 창조적인 음악적 경험을 제공하기 때문에 학습 내용으로서 그 가치가 높다. 하지만 수업자료의 부족과 현대음악의 이질적인 느낌 때문에 수업에서 그 내용을 다루기에 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문은 이러한 현대음악 수업에 대한 어려움을 가지고 있는 교사들을 돕고자 20세기 음악 감상 수업 지도방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두었으며 대상은 고등학교 1학년으로 하였다. 먼저 현대음악의 중요성과 감상학습 설계에 대해 알아보고 현행 교육과정을 바탕으로 한 고등학교 1학년 음악 검정 교과서의 감상영역에서 20세기 음악과 관련하여 내용을 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 기초로 쇤베르크의 표현주의 음악 <달에 홀린 피에로>, 프로코피에프의 신고전주의 음악 <고전 교향곡>, 존 케이지의 우연성 음악 <4분33초>, 리게티의 전자 음악 을 선정하여 교수-학습 지도안을 구성해 보았다. 감상활동을 통한 현대음악 수업은 난해한 현대음악을 이해하는 데 있어서 학생들에게 조금 더 쉽게 다가갈 수 있으며, 현대음악의 다양한 음악적 기법을 이해하는 데 도움이 된다. 나아가 이러한 현대음악 감상 수업을 통해 새로운 음악적 개념을 창의적으로 활용함으로써 학생들의 현대음악에 대한 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. | ABSTRACT Teaching Method of 20th-Century Music Appreciation for First Grade of High School Kim ha na Department of Music Education The Graduate School of Education Hanyang University Our contemporary music education achieved much progress, and it is still developing. As our music education became diverse and structured, music teachers should research and accumulate the various teaching method with more proactive attitude and liberal views. This thesis covers the appreciation area of various music learning fields, particularly focused on the teaching-learning method of the 20th century music. The originality and diversity of 20th century music are greatly valuable since it provides unique and creative musical experience to the students. However, there exists a difficulty to handle the modern music in the class due to the lack of teaching materials and the existence of heterogeneous feeling. The purpose of this thesis is to present a teaching method of 20th century listening to music in order to help teachers have difficulties for contemporary music classes, and the target is first-grade student in high school. First, associated with 20th century music, I researched the listening design and its importance, and analyzed the contents related to 20th century musicbased on the current curriculum from the listening area of music textbooks for freshman in high school. And on this basis, the Schoenberg's expressionist music , Prokofiev’s neoclassical music , John Cage's aleatory music <4 minutes 33 seconds> and Ligeti's electronic music were selected for the teaching-learning method lesson plans. A modern music lessons through listening activities make students understand the esoteric contemporary music a bit easily, and also help them to reach an understanding of various musical techniques on contemporary music.
