dc.description.abstractEquations of motion for a rotating blade considering pre-twist angle, cross section taper and a concentrated mass are derived by using hybrid deformation variable modeling. For the modeling of a concentrated mass arbitrary location of the blade, the Dirac delta function is applied to the mass density function. The coupling effect between the stretching and bending motions are ignored in this paper. The obtained equations for vibration analysis are transformed into dimensionless form by the dimensionless parameters. The effects of the dimensionless parameters on the natural frequencies are investigated through numerical analysis.-
