Abstract
국 문 요 지 본 연구의 목적은 집단 음악 연주를 통해 스트레스 대처 방식의 변화와 학교 적응을 향상 시키는 것이었다. 집단 음악 연주를 위해 사용된 악기는 리얼 악기를 연주할 수 있도록 IT를 접목한 아케이드 형태로 악보나 코드의 습득 없이 10분정도의 악기 사용 방법만 배워 모니터를 보고 악기 연주를 할 수 있는 것을 사용하여 고등학생 21명을 대상으로 그 효과를 검증하였다. 5명씩 팀으로 나누어 자신이 원하는 악기(드럼, 피아노, 기타)를 선택하게 하여 집단별로 10회기가 진행되었으며 각 회기 지속 시간은 50분간 실시하였다. 총 4주 동안 연구가 진행되었고 스트레스 대처 방식 및 학교 적응에 대해 사전, 사후 조사를 하였다. 스트레스 대처 방식 척도는 Folkman과 Lazarus(1985)가 개발한 대처 방식 척도를 기초로 하여 김정희와 이장호(1985)가 요인 분석 후 김정희(1987)가 이를 대학생을 대상으로 요인 분석한 질문지를 사용하였다. 학교 적응 척도는 김용래(1993)가 개발한 질문지를 사용하였다. 집단 음악연주의 효과를 검증하기 위해 스트레스 대처방식과 학교적응의 사전-사후 평균점수의 차이분석은 대응표본 t-검증(paired t-test)을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단 음악연주를 통해 스트레스 대처 방식이 달라질 것이라는 가설을 검증해 본 결과, 4주간의 집단 음악 연주 후 학생들의 적극적 스트레스 대처방식(문제 중심적 대처, 사회적지지 추구)이 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 보아 집단 음악 연주가 청소년들의 스트레스 대처방식에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 집단 음악연주를 통해 학교 적응에 긍정적 효과가 있다는 가설을 검증해 본 결과, 집단 음악 연주가 학생들의 학교 적응 향상에 유의미한 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과들은 청소년들의 효과적인 스트레스 대처 방식과 학교 적응을 증진시키는 수단으로서 집단 음악 연주가 효과적이라는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구에서는 학생들의 적극적인 악기 연주 참여로 청소년들의 자발성과 적극적인 개입을 유도하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 가진다고 하겠다. 추후에는 본 연구에서 살펴본 요인 외에 다른 여러 요인을 고려하여 집단 음악 연주의 효과성을 연구한다면 청소년과 관련된 기관이나 교육 장면에 더 많은 지침을 줄 수 있는 연구가 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 음악 장르를 세분화하여 장르에 따른 집단 음악 연주가 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 심층적으로 연구해야 할 것이다. 그리고 대상자를 확대하여 집단 음악 연주의 효과를 연구하는 것이 중요하며, 집단 음악 연주 실시 후 추수 연구가 실시되어 집단 음악 연주의 지속적인 효과에 대하여 깊이 연구할 필요가 있다. |ABSTRACT The effect of group musical playing of Liveband Ssaeng instrument on stress coping strategy and school adjustment Ko, young sook Dept. of counseling psychology The Graduate School Education Hanyang University The purpose of this research is the change of coping strategy of stress and to improve the school adjustment through group playing Liveband Ssaeng musical instrument. The instrument for group playing is IT(information Technology) applied real instrument which is arcade game type so that user can play seeing the monitor after 10 minutes practice without learning the notes and chords. The effect has been verified with 21 high school students. Each group has five members and each member can select the instrument he wants(drum, piano, guitar). There are 10 sessions for each group and each session lasts 50 minutes. The research had been made during 4 weeks. Pre and post survey was performed on the stress coping strategy and school adjustment. As for index of stress coping, we used the questionnaire factor analyzed for university students by Dr. Kim Jung Hee(1987) after Dr. Kim Jung Hee and Dr. Lee Jang Ho(1985) made factor analysis based scoping method index developed by Folkman and Lazarus(1985). As for School Adjustment Index, the questionnaire developed by Dr. Kim Young Rae(1993). To verify the effect of group musical playing, paired t-test was used for difference analysis of pre vs. post average score for stress coping method and school adjustment. The followings are summary of the findings of this research. Firstly, we verified the hypothesis that stress coping method will change through group musical playing and concluded that group musical playing has positive effect on stress coping method of adolescents to find meaningful improvement of student's active stress coping method(problem oriented handling, pursuit of social support) after 4 weeks of group musical playing. Secondly, we verified the hypothesis that group musical playing has positive effect on school adjustment and concluded that group musical has meaningful effect on the improvement of school adjustment. The above results of this research implies that group musical playing is effectives as means of effective stress coping method of adolescents and improving school adjustment. This research is also meaningful in the point that induced adolescent's spontaneity and active commitment through student's actives participation for instrument playing. Later if the research for effect of group musical playing can be performed considering other factors that are not covered in this research, then that will be more instructive for the adolescent's related institution and education scene. In addition, the in-depth research can be made on how the genre of the music that the students play can affect.
