Abstract
The media environment that evolves has created much changes on the life and cultural aspects of humans and has created characteristics which then formed into smart media environments, a type of information exchange environment without any time and space restraints. The current smart media environment allows the application of smart contents in various fields with the development of smart devices and smart media has become an important tool in communication. This shows that the use of smart media contents are increasing and this has become a necessity in human life. As smart environment has become popular, companies as noticed the importance of making use of smart contents in marketing and are making full use of this, and also realized that such intangible contents can be an important factor in increasing the brand value of a company. This is also the same for the publishing industry. The publishing industry is the field which utilizes smart media the most, and this is to provide digital contents such as e-book, to the customers in a more quick and organic manner, which becomes a contributing factor to the competence of the industry, by making use of contents such as smart publishing. The interface environment in smart device is a TUI (Touch User Interface) environment, which is different from the previous environment where in the user had to control the system through a mouse and a keyboard, which magnified the usability of the user. So in the new smart environment, there is a need for a way to increase usability by the developers and designers of TUI development for customers. Thus, this research studied effective ways to increase usability to provide convenient TUI contents to the customers. Data based on the analysis of experience of users were utilized to draw out TUI increasing plan, and for an effective contents development, a specific alternative was suggested for the basic design process which uses six sigma, which is a process which applies six sigma. In this thesis, the effect of user’s experience on satisfaction and convenience was analyzed to increase the usability of TUI user environment, and aims to study research on a six sigma based design process for the increased TUI usability. The survey analysis method was used to draw objective data which applies user experience to increase TUIS usability. To study the increased usability of user experience TUI, research model and theory were formed and 175 male and females in their teens, 20s, 30 and 40s were asked to answer the survey. And to find out the basic details, their gender, age, job, questions related to the use of smart media, direct / indirect experience, and satisfaction based on habitual / indirect use, analysis on the effect it has on user convenience and the data which analyzed the effect on smart contents, were measured for characteristic changes. The research has found out that direct habitual experience has a positive effect on smart contents application, and based on this, increased TUI usability was planned for the user satisfaction, user convenience’s positive factor to be statistically analyzed for the realization of six sigma, which lead to the planning and verification of the contents design process which with six sigma. Based on the proof in this research and research process and data, smart paradigm shift is a process for forming contents design process, and this is a way to actualize smart publishing contents. This is expected to serve as a basic material for the model development of increasing smart TUI usability for the effective analysis of smart contents development for users, and is also expected to play an effective role for experts such as contents planner, developer, and designers.
