dc.description.abstractIn this study, I describe the optimal design method for increasing the efficiency of the diffuser shape Vertical multistage centrifugal pumps used in the supply of high-rise buildings. For the optimal design of the diffuser to perform the numerical analysis of the actual model was verified by comparing the validity of the numerical simulation and experimental results. Numerical analysis was performed using the ANSYS CFX V12.1, the numerical analysis of the three-dimensional steady-state turbulent flow inside the pump. Simplified model for optimal design was conducted using experimental design and approximate model for the optimum design results initially improved the efficiency of the model and the 2.3% predicted by the head of 0.8m will be increased.-
