Abstract
디스플레이 산업은 다양한 기술의 접목으로 발전하고 있다. 1세대 디스플레이인 Cathod ray tube(CRT)로부터 시작하여, Liquid crystal display(LCD), Plasma display panel(PDP), Orgarnic light emitted diode(OLED) 등으로 기술적 변화와 발전을 거듭하고 있지만, 가장 빠른 기술적 진화를 이룬 것은 LCD 라고 할 수 있다. LCD는 기본적으로 여러층으로 구성되어 있으며 그 중 하나인 color filter layer는 빛의 삼원색인 RGB로 구성되어 있다. RGB층은 back light으로부터 나온 빛이 color filter layer를 통과하여 이미지를 재현한다. Green color filter는 green pigment가 기본적으로 사용되고 있으며, 색재현율을 향상시키기 위하여 yellow pigment가 조색으로 사용되는데, 용해성이 좋은 yellow염료를 사용하면 색재현율 뿐 아니라 상용성도 향상될 수 있다. 그러나 LCD color filter 공정에는 고온에서 노출되기 때문에 낮은 열안정성을 가지는 염료는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 Pyridone계 coupler를 가지는 azo염료 유도체를 합성하였고, 그들을 컬러필터 소자로 제작하는데 사용하였다. 현재 액정표시장치 컬러필터 제작에 상용화 되어 있는 복잡한 분산과정과 시간을 요구하는 안료형 컬러필터와 분산과정이 필요 없는 신규 염료형 컬러 필터의 스펙트럼 특성과 내 열성 등의 특징을 비교하였다. 본 연구에서 합성된 아조계 염료는 1H NMR 스펙트럼, UV-visible 스펙트럼, FT-IR, 원소 분석을 사용하여 물질 구조를 확인하였다.|Display industrial is increasingly being grown as grafting a verity of technology. Being used from the CRT (Cathod ray tube) as a first generation display device, display is divided with LCD(liquid crystal disply), PDP(plasma dipaly panel), OLED(organic light emitted diode). Among these displays, LCD is rapidly upgraded and developed and widely used in display fields. LCD is consisted of a variety of components which is glass substrate, color filter, black matrix, over coating layer and ITO films. Color filters layer is fabricated to red, green and blue pixel which is used to dye or pigment. RGB color layer reproducted imagine through color filter from backlight. But LCD demands were increased, Therefore if green color layer is used to mixing yellow pigment as sub color layer, color filter used to mixing pigments and dyes can be improved in color reproduction and commercial application because dyes have superior solubility. But dyes have low thermal properties to be fabricated in color resist. Therefore diazo compounds having pyridone coupler were synthesized and characterized for improving thermal properties and brightness. Also synthesized dyes were fabricated to color filter and compared with color resist using only pigment as a reference materials. The synthesized azo dyes were characterized by 1H-NMR, UV-visible spectra, FT-IR and Elemental analysis.; Display industrial is increasingly being grown as grafting a verity of technology.
