지능형 영상 보안 산업에서 기술 획득 전략

Abstract

나날이 치열해져가는 경쟁 환경에서 기술적인 우위를 달성하는 것은 기업 생존의 필수사항이 된지 오래이다. 정보통신 산업의 한축인 영상 보안 산업에서 기술의 중요성은 최근 들어 더욱 널리 인식 되어졌지만 어떤 한 기업이 모든 필요한 기술을 자체적으로 개발할 수 있는 기술적인 인원적인 자금적인 여유는 갈수록 없어지고 있다. 특히, 영상 보안 분야는 하이테크 산업이면서 원천기술의 발전 속도는 느리고 응용 기술 분야의 발전 속도는 빠른 특징을 지니고 있으며 영상 보안 하드웨어 분야에서의 국내 기업들의 기술 우위와는 다르게 미래의 해당 산업을 이끌어 갈 지능형 영상 보안 분야에서는 외국 선도 기업들이 기술을 주도 하고 있다(정치윤, 2012; 전범종 2012). 국내 영상 산업 분야 기업들의 기술 획득 전략은 시장 경쟁력 강화라는 측면에 대하여 해당 기업의 생존 가능성을 결정한다. 그러므로 국내 기업들은 외부 기술 획득을 통하여 지속적인 성장과 사업을 다각화 하기 위한 새로운 생존 방법을 찾고 있다 : 라이센싱, R&D 외주 개발, 협력 R&D 개발, 소액투자, 조인트 벤처, 합병 등(Kurokawa, 1997). 본 논문에서는 기술 획득 모드 중에 지능형 영상 보안 산업을 영위하는 국내 기업들이 장기적인 기술경쟁에서 내부의 기술적인 자금적인 인원적인 제약을 극복하면서 원천 기술을 획득 할 수 있는 방안을 실증적으로 분석한다. 이를 위하여 글로벌 선도기업의 특허 현황 분석을 통하여 그들이 집중하는 기술 분야를 알아내고 국내 기술의 현황을 파악하여 선도기업과의 차이를 분석하고 국내 중소기업 CTO와 CEO등 전문가들의 패널 토의를 통하여 조사한 요소기술-응용제품 매트릭스 기법을 이용하여 기술을 분해하고 내부에서 획득은 어려우나 미래의 경쟁력을 확보를 위하여 필수적인 핵심 요소기술을 도출한다. 또한 자원이 풍부하지 않은 국내 중소기업이 기술 획득전략을 만들기 위하여 영향을 받는 요인들을 기술적, 기업적, 환경적으로 분석하여 기술획득의 영향요인으로 사용하여 최적의 기술획득전략을 세우는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.|Achieving technological superiority has been long a prerequisite for survival of company in competitive environment which is deepening in intensity. In intelligent video surveillance industry, especially a field of telecommunications industry, the importance of technology became more widely recognized recently. However, it is almost impossible for firms to establish its own technical, personnel, and financial resources in order to developing all necessary technologies.

Especially in video surveillance industry, as a high-tech industry, it has traits that a pace of source technology development is slow while a pace of application technology development is fast. Unlike domestic companies have shown technological excellence in the field of video surveillance hardware, global leading companies are leading technologies in the field of intelligence video surveillance which would lead the future of the industry(Jung, 2012; Jun, 2012). Therefore, technology acquisition strategy of the domestic companies determines the viability of the company with respect to the terms of market competitiveness reinforcement. The domestic companies are exploring for new ways of survival, such as sustainable growth, business diversification, and through external technology acquisitions; licensing, R&D outsourcing development, cooperative R&D development, minority investments, joint ventures, mergers(Kurokawa, 1997).

It aimed to domestic enterprises engaged in intelligence video surveillane industry, this paper empirically analyzed the ways to acquire the source technologies while overcoming the internal technical, personnel, financial constraints in the long-term technical competition conditions.

In order to achieving this, find out the technology areas where the global leading companies are focused on analysis of global patents. After global patents analysis, identify the status of domestic technologies and analyze the difference between the global leading companies and the domestic companies. Decompose the technologies by element technology-application matrix which is obtained through a panel discussion of domestic SMEs’ CTO, CEO, or other experts, they derive the necessary core technologies to ensure the future competitiveness which is hard to obtain within the company. Furthermore, establish the domestic SMEs’(not abundant in resources) technology acquisition strategy, analyze affected to factors by technically, enterprisingly, and environmentally to obtain the influence factors of technology acquisition.
