Abstract
최근들어 스마트폰의 소형화로 인해 대용량의 배터리를 탑재하는데 한계가 있어서 스마트폰의 배터리 이슈가 되고 있다. 이러한 한계점 때문에 소프트웨어 기술로 보완 할 필요가 있다. 단순한 Social Media 연결상태에는 CPU 클럭을 증가할 필요가 없지만 빈번한 접속과 대용량이 파일의 다운로드, 동영상시청 , GPS의 지속된 연결은 배터리 소모를 감소시키므로 저 전력을 위한 전략이 필요하다. 하드웨어 개발에는 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되고 소프트웨어측면의 개발은 상대적으로 개발비용이 저렴하여 빠르게 적용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 DVFS(Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling)메커니즘을 기반, 사용자의 모바일 사용 시 전력소비와 CPU 사용률을 분석하여, 최고의 클럭 주파수와 최저 주파수를 예측 및 재 할당함으로 CPU 에너지 소비전력을 줄이는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서 제시한 알고리즘을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 통해서 결과를 확인해 본 결과 안드로이드OS 플랫폼 상에서 기존방식보다 CPU의 소모전력이 더 개선되는 것을 보여주었다.|Recently, it has so limited to embark big battery on the smartphone that it's becoming a big issue about smartphone's batterybecause of this issue we need to make up for fault using software technology. It don't need to grow cpu clock frequency about simple social media connection. but we need a better strategy for low power when we experience frequent connection and Huge pile-download and watching video clips, GPS's repeatedly link because battery is burned up rapidly. In this paper, it have and object in view for reducting CPU power comsumption DVFS(Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling) machanism based when user use mobile, to analyze power comsumption and cpu utilization, foresee maximun bewteen clock frequency and minimum clock frequency, and then reassign.
