Abstract
본연구는 동서양을 대표하는 두 안무가를 분석하고 연구하여 서로 다른 문화아래 창작된 무용작품의 공통점과 개성을 찾아 우리에게 가장 적합한 안무방법과 발전에 기여하며 더 나아가 안무 전공자들에게 더 나은 발판을 제공하는데 의의가 있으며 또한 현대 무용에 대한 발전에 공헌을 하는데 목적이 있다. 현대 무용 배경에서 살펴보면 동서양 현대 무용의 특성과 존재한 의의를 잘 알다. 현대 무용의 현황을 통해서 동서양 다른 문화 아래 발전된 현대무용을 쉽게 볼 수 있으며 이 사회 발전에 따른 편리와 영향을 누릴 수 있게 되었다. 또한 다른 국가 배경과 민족 문화 아래 존재하던 많은 문제들을 해결하게 되었다. 서양은 이미 완성되고 발전된 체계적인 현대 무용 시스템을 가지고 있고 동양은 두터운 예술 정신을 가지고 있기에 현대 무용에 큰 발전을 중요한 조건이 된다. 또한 이 논문은 동서양의 현대 무용을 더욱 이해하기 위한 연구이다. 현대 무용은 움직임의 자신의 문화를 결합하는 배경 아래서 창작된 무용작품은 전체 현대 무용의 발전과정과 우수한 성과를 대표할 뿐만 아니라 동서양의 다른 문화 차이 아래 예술 표현 방식을 각각 드러내었다. 동양 전통의식과 중국각기 다른 민족 문화를 작품 속에 녹여낸 린리진과 혹은 독일의 연극무대 형식을 극치로 발휘한 피나 바우쉬, 모두 본토 문화의 영향 아래 강렬한 민족특성을지닌 작품을 창작해 내었다. 린리진과 피나 바우쉬는 모두 작품 안무의 기초를 다지기 위해 서양에서 현대 무용 체계와 이론을 공부한 적이 있다. 두 사람 현대 무용 이론의 기초 위에서 자신만의 움직임을 창조해냈다. 린리진과 피나 바우쉬는 자신의 작품 안에서 자기 민족문화와 세계 문화 소통을 위한 교량을 찾아내었다. 전승과 창조 사이에서 하나의 균형점을 찾아내어 세계가 모두 알아들을 수 있는 언어를 사용하여 자신만의 독특한 이야기를 들려주었다. 연구자는 이번 현대춤에 내재된 작품 성향 연구를 통해서 동서양 대표한 2명안무가의 작품 분석을 통해 어떤 방식으로 우수한 작품이 만들어 지는지, 더 나은 학습방법은 무엇인지, 현대 무용이 앞으로 어떻게 발전할 수 있는지에 대해 이해할 수 있었다. 어떤 방식으로 문화와 국적의 경계를 넘을 수 있는지는 서양무용계에서 열렬한 찬사와 인정을 받는 대표적인 동양 무용가 린리진와 동양 무용계에서 이름을 떨치는 대표적 서양 무용가 피나 바우쉬를 보면 알 수 있다. 이것은 국가와 민족에 상관없이 무용에 종사하는 사람들이 모두 학습하고 고민해 봐야 할 문제이다. |This research analyzed two eastern and western choreographers’ dancing works, in order to find out the commonness and individuality of creating excellent dances under different cultures, and also to seek the most suitable way for dance professionals to improve creative ability. Finally to create more excellent dances, expand the influence of modern dance in today's society, and to make contribution to the development of modern dance. This study tried to understand the characteristics and value of modern dance via learning modern dance background. Through the present situation of modern dance, we can see the development of modern dance in east and west cultures, benefits from the convenience of scientific and technological progress, and their respective problems in different national background and culture. Whether the west who has gradually developed modern dance training system, or the east who has long long artistic history, are the important nutrients and conditions for the development of modern dance career. It is necessary for us to make a better understanding of both east and west. Using modern dance as dancing langue, and combined with our own cultural background, dance works can represent the progress and outstanding achievements of the whole world’s modern dance, also highlights the differences between the east and west. Lizhen Lin who combined oriental traditional rituals and Chinese different ethnic culture into dancing works, and Pina who maximized the German "Dance Theatre" mode, are both affected by local culture, and create outstanding works with strong ethnic characteristics. They all studied western modern dance theory and created their own modern dance language based on these theories. Both two choreographers created a communication bridge for the national culture and world culture, and found a balance between inheritance and innovation. "Tell a unique story with a langue the whole world can understand”. Through the analysis of “A study on the work propensity in contemporary dance”, especially the two eastern and western choreographers’ dancing works, the researcher had a better understanding about how to create outstanding modern dancing works, and how to better learn and develop modern dance. Meanwhile, the researcher learned how to break the boundaries of culture and nationality, like the representative of eastern dancer Lizhen Lin, who receives high recognition in western, and like the representative of western dancer Pina, who are very popular in eastern. This is a good question that every country's dancers should learn and think about.
