경매 이론과 현실 적용 사례

Abstract

본 논문에서는 현실에서 사용되는 경매 제도를 소개하고 이를 이해하기 위한 이론적 논의의 기초를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 우선 일차가격 비밀 경매와 이차가격 비밀 경매에중점을 두고 기본적인 경매 이론을 소개한다. 이후, 정부 및 기업이 재화나 서비스를 외부로부터 구매 할 때 사용하는 조달 경매와 온라인 경매의 시초가 된 eBay경매를 소개한다. 기본적인 경매 이론이 조달 경매와 eBay경매에서 어떻게 적용되는지 살펴보고 각 경매 제도의 구체적인 특징을 살펴본다. This paper introduces several auction mechanisms that are currently used in practice and provide the basic auction theory to understand them. To do this, we first introduce the auction theory focusing on the first-price and the second-price sealed bid auctions. We then introduce procurement auctions that the governments and the businesses use to purchase goods or services from outside, and eBay auctions that were the beginning of online auctions. In each of those auctions, we examine its specific characteristics and explain how the basic auction theory applies to practice.
