결혼이주여성들의 여가활동 특성에 대한 비판적 고찰 - 지속가능한 문화융합사회로의 진입을 위한 인본주의적 가치실현의 전망 -

Abstract

본 연구는 한국사회에서 다문화 결혼이주여성들의 여가활동이 어떤 사회문화적 특징에 의해서 나타나고 있는지를 분석하고, 이를 이론적으로 설명하기 위해서 진행되었다. 조사 분석결과, 한국에 이주한 다문화가족 이주 여성들은 그들 여가활동에 대한 관여도가 높다고 해서 그 심리적 가치의 정도가 여가만족도의 증대로 직접적으로 나타나지 않으며, 반드시 기능성취적인 여가활동 동기가 매개되어야만 여가만족도 정도가 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 같은 분석결과는 중요한 사회문화적 의미를 내포하고 있는데, 여가와 노동이 완전히 단절될 수 없는 다문화 이주여성들의 삶의 특징을 알 수 있으며, 더불어 그들의 여가활동에 도구적 측면의 사회적 요인들이 영향을 미치고 있음을 보여준다. 이 같은 현상은 원래 한국에서 태어나서 거주하고 있는 국민들과는 다른 유형의 여가활동이 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있게 해준다. 따라서 현재 급속하게 진행되고 있는 한국사회에서의 다문화사회로의 안정적인 정착을 위해서는 다문화가족들의 생활세계에 대한 국가 정책적 배려가 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 지속가능한 문화융합사회로의 진입을 위해서는 그들의 삶에 대한 인본주의적 고찰에 기초한 사회적 공론 과정이 필요하다. 요컨대 이제 공공성에 입각한 정부의 여가정책을 과정을 통해 다문화 결혼이주여성들의 본원적인 여가의 의미를 구현시킬 수 있도록 구조적인 노력이 경주되어야 할 것이다.The study is to analyze the relationship of leisure activities of foreign immigrant women married to Koreans and their sociocultural characteristics, and to offer a rationalization for the relationship. The result shows that foreign wives’ leisure involvement has no direct impact on their leisure satisfaction, but they are more satisfied with leisure activities when the motivation of functional achievement is used as a parameter. It has significant sociocultural meanings that labor and leisure can not be separable to foreign wives from developing countries, and leisure activities have social impact on them unlike Koreans. Therefore the government is required to establish national policies concerning the life-world of multi-cultural families in order that a multi-cultural society can be establish well in Korea that is rapidly moving toward it. Especially, social discussion should be made from a humanistic perspective on the lives of multi-cultural families to enter a sustainable cultural convergence society. After all, the government needs to take structural approach, considering the publicness in making leisure policies to embody the original meaning of leisure for foreign women married to Koreans.
