초등교사 소명척도 개발

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사의 소명을 측정할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교사의 소명에 대한 문헌 연구와 현직 초등교사들의 의견을 수렴과 현장 및 교육전문가들의 검토와 예비연구를 통해 53문항을 제작하였다. 제작된 문항을 초등교사 243명에게 실시하고, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 삶의 목적과 의미, 학생에 대한 관심과 애정, 공동체 기여의 3 개의 하위요인 15문항을 추출하였다. 본 15문항을 초등교사 300명에게 실시하고 확인적 요인분석을 통해, 3요인 15문항을 확정하였다. 초등교사 소명척도의 타당도를 확인하기 위해 한국판 소명척도로 측정한 소명, 초등교사 소진, 직무만족, 및 삶의 만족과의 관계를 분석하였고, 수렴타당도 및 증분 타당도를 검토하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 척도의 의의와 한계에 대해 논의하였다.The purpose of this study was to develope a reliable and trustworthy calling scale for Korean elementary school teachers. We conducted a literature review and surveyed elementary school teachers via online open end questions. After being reviewed by experts of educations, 53 items were generated. These items were administrated to 243 elementary school teachers and an exploratory factor analysis revealed three factors of life purpose and meaning, caring and affection for students, and contribution to society and 15 items. A confirmatory factor analysis supported the factor structure. The convergent validity and incremental validity were acceptable by examining relationships among calling, burnout, life satisfaction, work satisfaction and elementary school teacher’s calling. Implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
