서울시 도로 및 철도 시설 수준 비교 연구

Abstract

서울시를 비롯한 각 지역은 경제적·지리적·사회적 여건이 상이하여 지역마다 서로 다른 특성을 가지고 있으며, 이에 따라 비교 대상이 무엇이든지 지역 간 차이가 발생한다. 이러한 현상은 지역별 SOC 스톡(Stock) 수준에서도 나타난다. 이 논문은 서울시의 도로·철도 시설을 대상으로 시설의 양적 특성과 질적 특성을 동시에 고려한 자치구별 시설 수준을 산정하였다. 분석 결과, 도로 순위와 철도 순위 간에는 상관성이 없었고, 도심지일수록 대체로 도로의 시설 수준이 철도의 시설 수준보다 열악한 상태에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 해당 지역의 시설 수준이 타 지역에 비해 어느 정도인지를 나타내고 있으며, 도로 대비 철도의 시설 수준 비교가 가능해 교통수단 간 적정 배분 산정을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. 또한, 서울시 도시계획 수립 시 정책결정의 참고자료로 기여할 수 있다. Each region has different characteristics because their economic, geographic, and social conditions are different. Whatever the comparative object is, there are differences between regions. This fact can be confirmed by comparison of the regional SOC stock levels. The main method for estimating these stock levels is multiple regression analysis, using socioeconomic indicators or the physical indicators based on the facilities. In this study, we have calculated the stock levels of autonomous districts by considering the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of facilities for road and railway facilities in Seoul. The results of the analysis show that there is no correlation between road rank and railroad rank. In general, the stock level of roads is worse than the stock level of the railways in urban areas. Our results should confirm the level of stock in a region compared to other regions, and could be used as basic data for the proper allocation of transportation resources. Furthermore, they could be used as reference data in order to make better policy decisions, as in urban planning.
