다발성 골수종 환자에서 발생한 Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron 화농성 관절염

Abstract

장천공 등 혐기균에의 노출이 있는 환자에서는 드물지만 혐기균에 의한 화농성 관절염이 발생할 수 있다. 저자들은 반복적 장출혈이 있었던 환자에서 Bacteroides tetaiotamicron에 의한 화농성 관절염을 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. 본 증례와 같이 장출혈과 장천공 등 혐기성 세균의 노출이 반복적으로 존재하는 환자에서 화농성 관절염이 발생하였을 경우 혐기성 세균에 의한 감염의 가능성을 고려하여야겠다. Septic arthritis is rarely caused by anaerobic bacteria, which is mostly secondary to hematogenous dissemination among the immunocompromised host. We report a patient of septic arthritis on the right knee joint caused by Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. To the best of knowledge, this is the first report of septic arthritis caused by Bacteroides spp. in Korea. (Korean J Med 2017;92:99-102)
