dc.description.abstractThe men of Choson have used their headgear for symbolic value rather than functional one. And they embodied their particular aesthetic sense in headgear. So, We have to be restored to the original state with their function of social status and aesthetic consciousness. The results of this study are as follows. The important factors for effective restoration of original headgear are shape, color, role, use, and pattern. But the most important factor is a symbolism that display their social role. In this study, I was restored headgear according to the visual shape and image, and I presented some samples of practical use for activation of cultural industry.en_US
