Today, with globalization and the development of media, the Korean Wave is spreading all around the world. The number of foreign tourists has been on a steady rise from 2008 and the number of travelers who have a high desire to experience the Korean culture has increased. To do so foreigners both decide to go for tours and pay for tradiotional experiences or stay in guest houses where is possible to experience the culture of the country. These Places are called "hanok guest house", where hanok means traditional Korean house in Korean. These spaces transmit the emotions and characteristics of the nation, but at the same time are renewed to meet the guests" needs. In Korea there are a lot of places where it is possible to experience. Bukchon Hanok Village, Samcheong-dong, Insa-dong and Namsan Hanok Village in Seoul have become popular tourist destinations not only for foreigners but also for locals. However, a growing number of people are opting for Jeonju Hanok Village because there are still Japanese-style houses or pavilions built in the past.
