재외 한국학교의 진로교육 현황 분석 및 발전방안 탐색

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 재외 한국학교의 진로·진학교육 현황을 체계적으로 분석하여 발전방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 22개 재외 한국학교의 연간교육계획서를 활용하여 진로·진학 담당 부서, 진로진학상담교사 배치 및 교과목 편제 현황을 살펴보고, 「2015 학교 진로교육 목표 및 성취기준」의 ‘일반고등학교 진로교육의 세부목표 및 성취기준’을 준거로 하여 재외 한국학교의 진로·진학교육 내용을 분석하였다. 또한 개별 학교별로 진로·진학교육의 세부특성을 심층적으로 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 재외한국학교의 진로교육은 주로 대학진학에 초점을 두고 있어 체계적인 진로교육이 시급하다. 또한 진로진학 상담교사의 배치 비율이 낮고 진로 관련 과목의 운영이 극히 미흡한 실정이다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 재외 한국학교의 진로·진학교육 발전 방향을 제시하였다. This study aims to explore contents of career education programs of Overseas Korean Schools in order to assess the current status and suggest development strategies. We analyzed career education programs of 22 Overseas Korean Schools across 7 countries in 2017-2018. Most of the programs focus on college entrance exams at the cost of systematic career education. Also, career teachers are rarely assigned to overseas Korean schools. Based on the results of this study, future directions for career education in Overseas Korean Schools are suggested.
