Abstract
투명 폴리에스테르 쉬트가 NaOH 용액에 노출되었을 때의 파괴거동을 조사하였다. 투명 폴리에스테르 쉬트로서는 원료수지의 화학구조가 서로다른 PETG와 APET를 사용하였다. APET 쉬트가 PETG 쉬트에 배해 크랙성장이 더 천천히 일어나는 것을 관찰할 수 있었으며, 크랙성장속도는 응력집중계수의 증가에 따라 증가되었다. APET가 PETG 에 비해 크랙성장에 대한 저항성이 큰 것은 APET의 경우 크랙선단에서 결정화가 일어날 수 있기 때문인 것으로 생각되었다. The fracture behavior of transparent copolyester sheets when they are exposed to NaOH solution was investigated. Two types of copolyester sheet with different molecular structures, which are commercially available and named as PETG and APET, were examined. It was observed that crack growth rate of PETG film is faster than APET film. This is supposed to be due to higher rate of liquid diffusion in PETG compared to that in APET film. Crack growth rate of PETG and APET films increased with increasing stress intensity factor and NaOH concentration. The higher fracture strength of APET is supposed to be related to its crystallizability under this condition.
